It was just one of her tiny habits.
Sometimes, she played with a thin clump of his hair. Swirling it around her fingers. Sometimes, her thumb lightly glided along the stubble of his jaw. Sometimes, she kissed the small scar on his forehead.
And now, a few minutes after they decided to have a siesta on the cool floor, her finger touched the tip of his nose and slid to the bridge until it unruffled the creases in between the eye brows.
As if she knew there was a small bit of the brooding that he needed to let go.
But it worked. He forgot what he was thinking behind his pretension. With his lips stretched to a smile, he surrendered to her touch.
