Mouth agape, the water seraph was stunned. Well he should have realized he was a seraph since he was able to be seen and heard. Relaxing back as he recollected himself and having a new view on the situation.

“Well this changes everything. I haven’t met a seraph like you before.”

“It’s... this isn’t something a human should be meddling with.” How was he suppose to explain it, it was difficult to explain it to someone who’s not a seraph.

It’s not that the seraph smelled bad. Everything had their own scent, and this was a scent he was not familiar with. So Repede was left curious about it, and approached the boy while sniffing in his general direction. He didn’t seem particularly threatening.

“Oh no he’s coming this way.” Instantly stiffening and clenching his fists by his sides, he wanted to move but his feet refused to move. Gaze never shifting away from away, his breath becoming shorter.
