You exhale a plume of smoke, watching it drift up into the air above you. The alley is empty, safe from the distant hum of hell being well, hell. You can feel the weight of the night pressing down on you, but somehow the cigarette in your hand and the taste of nicotine on your tongue grounded you to the present. It's been a while since you've been alone without Valentino on your ass. Away from the studio. But you didn’t expect to see him. Angel.

You're not sure how he found you, or why he's here, but the relief you feel at the sight of his familiar face is palpable. He approaches you cautiously, as if he's afraid that even being this close will somehow set off an alarm to Valentino. "I know you don't remember anything about me," he says softly, "but I'm here to help. To tell you about a place called the Hazbin Hotel."

To those who have read my work “A sacrifice for a friend” ir if you haven’t feel free to disregard this. I am unfortunately going to most likely discontinue it after I drop chapter 6.

While I know it’s shitty of me to leave you on a cliff hanger, writing this fanfic has honestly effected my mental health for reasons I would rather not get into, a lot of it has to do with my own trauma and getting to that point in my writing just isn’t sitting well. And I just don’t think it’s being seen in the way I had hoped.

Thus being said, I might not completely drop it. But as of now it will be Discontinued. I will release Chapter 6 and after that I will be opening requests and completing them.

Thank you for the support it did get while I was writing. It means the world to me that people were investing in my writing, even if it wasn’t a ton.

Until then, I bid farewell.

His heart pounds against his ribcage, threatening to burst out of his chest as he wonders how this could be possible.
