The remains of a mid-16th century church known as the Temple of Santiago is visible Friday from the surface of the Grijalva River due to the lack of rain near the town of Nueva Quechula, in Chiapas state, Mexico.

Hey writers! Everyone has their own style and yours is great. Some people’s writing is lush and descriptive and emotional, others are sparse and sleek and powerful, and others still are fast-paced and immediate and visceral. They all have their merits. No style is better than another. It’s all fine.
And! Not all of your pieces have to be one particular style either. Just because your last work was meandering or slow or heavy doesn’t mean your next can’t be sharp or quick or light. Don’t beat yourself up because you aren’t doing what you did in the last thing you wrote. That was a different piece, required a different mood. Do what works for you. Do what works for this story. Don’t worry about what others do or what you’ve done before.

I'm very curious in your project novella!!! Are there any details or themes or time period or anything you're willing to release/talk about yet?
I tried answering this at three in the morning, and that didn’t go very well, so that’s why I’m just now getting back to you! Thank you so much for the inquiry though ahh
I can release a couple of things for you!
First off, we are talking present day, in the little town that is Westwell, Connecticut. It’s everything you might except of a small, northern, coastal town: Colonial houses that boast riches, that boast history and stories. Hills further beyond blanketed in tall grass turned gold and silken by the autumnal sun. Sunflower farms that wave to apple orchards, corn fields, & open land dotted with cows and sunset colored oaks. Seashell covered beaches where smaller, more humble homes have been washed clean by the salty breeze of The Sound. There’s stories here too, but they’ve only just begun.
Though, what you might not expect of it is Tannenbay Hall.
Tannenbay, or simply The Hall, has the richest students crawling to its doorstep every fall from New York City. There’s about as many students as you can count on both of your hands that get accepted that can’t buy their way in. Tannenbay has the bragging rights to successful students who excel beyond all expectations in the classroom and in the real world, and there’s no room for the penniless in that picture.
Despite this, it is not free from the ghosts that haunt Westwell. In fact, Tannenbay just might be host to those supernatural entities.
You can expect lots of magic, lots of foul play, looming darkness, corruption in power and wealth. But you can also expect friendship that, while not as deeply rooted in history as New England, could quite possibly hold tighter bonds. Also, you can expect a canonically bisexual character! I plan on releasing edits here very soon for the rest of the crew so everyone gets a more visual feel for them!
Thanks again for the question, I’m happy to answer any and all questions in the vaguest way I can muster.
