Welcome to the 1DFF POC Directory!

Hello all! We’re incredibly excited to be launching the official hub for POC writers in the One Direction Fanfiction community. We hope to be a resource for writers of color and writers who wish to include characters of color in their fics. For those stories that aren’t told, for those characters that aren’t represented as often–we want to be a space of encouragement and inclusivity for all.

Some of our features will include…

  • A directory of fics written by authors of color and/or featuring OCs of color.
  • Quote of the Month: we will accept submissions for your favorite quotes!
  • Monthly Author Spotlights: we hope to host interviews with authors of color to talk about their process, their reasons for writing their particular story, and what diversity and representation mean to them.
  • Monthly Wrap-Ups: a comprehensive list of updated/new POC fics each month.
  • Resource Nights: we hope to spend some time reblogging and posting helpful links about writing diverse and underrepresented characters in fiction.

We can’t wait to build upon the great strides that have been made in encouraging diversity and inclusivity in the 1DFF community. Watch this space as we continue to announce projects in the next few months!
