But when it’s fiction, when no real people are being hurt or killed, it’s interesting to explore the experience, the effects it may have, and to an extent experience the emotions involved without actually having to experience the horrible thing. You explore scary, dangerous things from a safe distance.

I wouldn't say, that they act like Father and daughter but they do share a very special bond. It's hard to say how long they've been stuck in the circus together. They've been through a lot, with Kinger sadly losing his mind at times, but Ragatha's always been there to help him bounce back.

in another universe, I’m living with my best friend in Chicago in a nice apartment with a good view and we take morning walks with our dogs. I know what he wants to eat and I cook it and then he makes my coffee in the morning. Platonic love feels so much better than romantic. Sure the days are hard, we work long hours but we are happy and healthy.
