Woah- Okay wow-

I remember one time a friend of mine got yelled at by someone who is now a big trasfem blogger on here but back then was a popular crossdresser, bc my friend said she should consider transition. The popular blogger replied "stop pathologizing me!"

And idk I think that says a lot about the reason behind things like the "egg prime directive" and people getting mad about saying Kurt Cobain could have been trans.

Because if you think of transness as a pathology, as a disease, then its seen as horrible to imagine that for someone. Like if transness is this awful condition that "forces you to get extreme surgery and change your hormones" and that's all supposed to be unnatural and traumatizing, then yeah I guess it would be mean to assign somebody that.

But if you don't see transness that way, if it's just a cool and unique way to be and no worse than being cis (besides all the bigotry we face), then yeah why not see Kurt Cobain as a trans woman? It's like people drawing Goku as a muslim, it just means we see her as one of our kind.
