BIG ANNOUNCEMENT CONCERNING THIS BLOG !! So I havenāt been on this blog in too long, and at this point Iām afraid to check on the date of my last post. Thereās a few reasons why I havenāt been on this blog, but the short of it is that Lydia has been on the back burner for a while because I just have a lack of activity here. So with that being said, Iāve decided that for the time being, Iām moving Lydia to my multi - @elastixheartsā - Iāll still keep this blog incase I decide to bring her back fulltime, but for now, I can give her the most & best attention I can give her by moving her to my multi that I spend a fair amount of time on. I hope to see everyone over there! <3

Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Heās the Pumpkin King, right? āĀ Betelgeuse had told her enough stories about Halloweentown that she felt like she knew some of the unique characters so well without having ever met any of them before. She thought he just liked telling her all of these stories because he didnāt actually want to take her there, and knew it would drive her insane wanting to visit such a magical place. To a little girl who loved Halloween and everything spooky, she had only dreamed about coming here as a child. She was a lot older now but that still didnāt tarnish her excitement.Ā ā I guess Iāll wear a necklace of garlic to keep myself safe around you. āĀ Lydia wondered how much of a myth wearing garlic was or if it was just for the sake of stories. TheĀ clownās expression lifted at the explanation,Ā āāSoundsĀ Ā pretty goodĀ Ā to me. A littlefear never hurtanyoneāā IT said with a giggle and covered ITāS eyes for a moment, before jumping up and lifting them away āāBooā!ā Pennywise cried out loudly, but playfully.
Between when IT had covered and uncovered ITāS face, the creatureās eyes shifted from blue to gold.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā Itās funny ā āĀ In the sense that itās not funny actually, because heās right, adults do tend to be more hurtful.Ā ā ā Iāve often thought about that. People that are older to have a tendency to be hurtful to one another. You think theyād have compassion with each other knowing how hard life can be sometimes. āĀ She supposed that whenever she got older that maybe sheād have a sense of understanding why it was that adults were so damn cruel and misunderstood each other. Maybe not though. maybe she didnāt want to be one of those cold, selfish creatures.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The sudden BOO did cause Lydia to flinch away from him, but she wasnāt exactly scared either. Sheād seen a lot worse, though the change in his eyes were peculiar. Werenāt they just blue a second ago?Ā ā What kind of clown can do that? āĀ She mused, though he probably wouldnāt know what he was referring to by such a vague question.
Ā Ā Ā Zora had been casually sipping at their own drink when not pouring over the notes that Lydia had taken from her latest venture. They narrowed their eyes at some of the images, trying to make out something, anything of potential interest here and seemed to not be finding much.Ā āTalk about the burden of proof being very heavy here.ā And the lacking results certainly were not going to make this situation easier.
āDo you think there is some ways that you havenāt tried yet to encourage them to make contact? I know usually that itās easier for you - but I guess in a case like this, you would have to take more drastic measures. Or more unusual ones anyway.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā ā I know. You know, I wish people didnāt depend solely on photographs because thatās hardly where much of the proof is. āĀ Ghosts could be captured in photos but that wasnāt always the case. A lot of times they actually avoided cameras all together so they didnāt end up being caught on any kind of film. The best source of communication was a medium, but not everyone took their word for it. Whatever she might tell them didnāt mean that they were going to believe Lydia, hence wanted something they could see for themselves. That being said, not even the ghosts wanted to be communicate with her right now, for whatever reason that may be.Ā ā Maybe, āĀ she mused, biting on the inside of her lip and thinking what those ways could be.Ā ā I donāt have all of the technology in the world. Not that I really think half the tools they use on those ghost hunting shows actually exist but Iām sure some of them are onto something. ā
