also okay. look i know ren and doc play into the rendoc thing all the time but it is IMMENSELY funny to me that doc has decided to start directly calling ren his husband....... but only for the purpose of recusing ren as a witness because he can't be called in to testify against his own husband as a conflict of interest thing. this is insane to me. rendoc marriage is real (it is real for purposes of crime),

to those asking: from cleo's stream today. he both says in chat "well ren's my husband he doesn't have to testify" (cleo, baffled: "is doc proposing?") and says out loud with his mouth that ren's his husband so it doesn't matter if he's a witness (scar, quietly: "oh they got married good for them"). the funniest part of this is that the way doc says it suggests that he thinks everyone else should already know he and ren are married and that this is an obvious thing that has always been true, as opposed to an insane thing that he has only said today. i love this. rendoc fully canon now i guess,
