While I’m here, may I direct you to the new album by one of my favorite bands, Foxing?

I waited a long time for this album and my goodness, it’s everything I hoped for and more. It’s beautiful and grandiose and complex and just an amazing, brilliant piece of art. 

I saw them last week at a record store where they performed some of these songs in a stripped-down, intimate performance and I love them, but hearing them this way with the lush, sweeping music is just another level. 

There’s a lot to unpack here, and if you like Radiohead, Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, M83, TV on the Radio or Frank Ocean you might like this one. I’m practically begging you to give it a listen. It’s only August and I am telling you this is my album of the year.
