Study dates with Bakugou

— we all know how this gremlin’s a smartass

— we also know that bitch’s got a short fuse

— he’s the type of guy who is 120% focused when studying.

— whether the study date is for preparing for midterms/finals, or that you’re just in the group of people who are just in need of improvement, he’ll act against the idea of it tho secretly eager to help

— won’t tolerate loud places; they are a big no no. So a slightly-empty cafe/coffee shop/milktea shop or either of your rooms would do

— if you’re in a cafe he’d order a drink and pay for it

— hasn’t really done this kinda thing before so when you both arrive he’ll just open the textbook then begin studying silently

— “bakugou, could you... help?” • “wHAT?” • “help me understand this?”

— will eventually begin explaining you what shit means and the details

— he’s the type of guy who per say, in Chem or math, create an easier solution/process to get the answer so he’ll teach you his ways. Fuck the system.

— he also brings a notebook to take notes of important details but mostly uses index cards to create flash cards, so in that way, you can review later when you get home or the time before the tests

(a/n: I use that method and recommend it,, index cards are great)

— eventually, he’ll go from sitting across you to sitting beside you so it’s much easier to tutor

— when you’re both just reading and taking note, he’ll involuntarily place his hand on top of yours,, will only notice if you intertwine your fingers with his,,, cue bakublush

— he’s a forehead flick guy

— notices you spacing out? Flick

— notices you fidgeting/playing with accessories? Flick

— notices you trying to distract him? Flick

— lives for your reactions and tries his best to hold in his dumb bitch smirk

— so really, trying to distract him from the study date’s impossible

— won’t end until you get all the info drilled into your head,,

— though just inhaling information from a textbook like a study bot isn’t as practical and he knows it. He creates ways to make it more understanding and practical like mini demonstrations to make you analyze and think deeper into the problem given or explaining it in dumb bitch language,, so they aren’t as boring as you’d think it’d be

— if you ace the test he gives a reward, most of the time a compliment or peck

— lMAO u won’t fail if it’s Bakugou you’ve had a study date with, trust me,, not with all the forehead flicks you won’t fail,,

— y’all end up going on study dates more often even if it’s just for homework, projects, or hell even advanced studying
