Ashley passes the bathroom, bottle of water in hand as she plans to return to the guest room she’d been allowed to use graciously by the Munroes while her parents were away. She wasn’t afraid of being alone in her house, mind you! Some of the noises just.. creeped her out. So she may or may not have sent texts out to her friends asking to stay at their place for the weekend, && was thankful when Mike responded positively. She plans to read in the comfy guest room && stay out of the Munroes’ ways while she lived out her stay in the home, but a noise from the bathroom brings her to a halt. Opening the door only slightly, Ashley leans her ear against the crack to get a better listen.
&& breaks into a wide grin.
“Hey, Mike! I didn’t know you liked Destiny’s Child!” She yells to her friend before closing the door && running off. She’ll probably face consequences for that, but it was worth it.

A finger held the power button down on her phone, waiting for the prompt that would give her the option to slide to power her phone off. It pops up && she sighs. It would be so easy to just bail right now, never talk to him again, ever, but she would only feel guilty. && guilt was not something she could handle right now, on top of everything. So she presses the home button to send the prompt away to wait for a response that felt like it was taking hours rather than the probable few minutes of time it was actually taking.
