So I got a message in my ao3 inbox today about a wattpad writer stealing Hamilton stories from ao3.

This is a message for all the people who steal art and say “credit to the original artist/author”: fuck you. I wrote Premier and Deuxieme for free as a request. You can read them on tumblr, or on ao3 for free. You have no right to steal my work, even if you aren’t monetarily benefiting from it.

You are one of the worst kinds of art consumers and I don’t want you, your kudos, or your reblogs. You aren’t welcome here.

Hi I’m not dead!

Okay so I have a chapter of an Anastasia fanfic to upload hhhhhhhowever

My laptop has been offline so long that I can’t even airdrop to my own phone so I don’t know when I can upload.

In the meantime, I have a few potential stories I could continue and I want input:

Baby Steps - unplanned pregnancy fic

‘I Want Her’- Lamliza surrogacy fic

First Loves- Lams with trans Laurens

Look At Our Son- Hamliza angst

Also I have the Jefferson/Maria one but I’m pretty sure I’m just gonna abandon that one tbh

I.... are you asking me to write a John Mulaney x Hamilton fic.... because this is the first ask I’ve gotten in a year and I really hope so because that’d be hilarious and I will marry you. The dress code is semi formal but exceptions will be made for cosplays

just a reminder

fic writers don’t do this for any money or anything.

no one pays us to write fics, or head canons, or one shots, or blurbs.

we get barely any recognition as writers tbh.

so when you reblog something with a smiley face or a comment or even just adding tags, it makes us SO HAPPY. you’re spreading our work and making us feel like what we’re doing is appreciated. feedback is ALWAYS NICE. even just liking a post is a HUGE boost for us.

so to those of you that do, thank you. it truly means the world to us.

Lost in Translation

For the request thing, could you write Peggy learning French with her s/o Laf (nonbinary hc)?

For the wonderful Leo, @creeperdrool who was the only person to send me a request. Hope you aren’t dying in this shitty heat, my dude. That goes for all of you in these extreme heat areas!! 

Laf was striding down the sidewalk, their outer façade the perfect depiction of confidence, their mind crumbling in doubt. They walked into the nearest McDonald’s, eyes searching for their friends. Alexander was stooped over in one of the furthest booths, his hair pulled back hastily in a ponytail.

They slid into the booth across from Alexander. “Alex, I think…”

Alexander looked up, mouth full of chicken nugget.

“Alexander, what are you doing?”

Alexander’s jaw chewed slowly and he swallowed the last bit of chicken nugget. “Nothing. Just enjoying some chicken nugs before you got here so I didn’t look disgusting for eating twice my weight in nugs later when we order as a pair.”

I’m so glad you’re back, you have such a fluid writing style, like everything is so smooth and nice and perfectly described. You could literally write about paint drying and I’d still enjoy it.

I’m an oil painter and so I could write very specifically about paint drying. 😂😂😂

But thank you so much! Now that school’s out for a few months, I’m hoping to get some writing done before I have no time to once school starts again.
