Hi there!! Welcome to the chaos that is my blog!

I’m Trin. I’m an aroace Christian nerd with way too much anxiety and an unending drive to write. I’m studying UX/UI Design and can and will geek out over it. Sorry in advance. Also, I really, really love the Hero of Time…in case you couldn’t tell.

My pronouns are she/her.

Everyone is welcome on here so long as they act with kindness and human decency.

My asks are always open and I love to chat! However, I ask that you don’t send asks regarding political matters or fandom discourse. I made this blog for light-hearted fun and bonding over shared interests. I strive to keep it that way.

Tags

#trin writes — my fics. Mostly whump and angst so watch out for those tags and warnings!

#trin rambles — everything from me screaming about the LU boys to me ranting about a bad day. I don’t vent too often, and when I do I try to tag it appropriately. Eventually, I will remember to make a vent specific tag. Until then, feel free to block this tag

#trin answers — basically what it says on the tin. Any and all asks that I’ve replied to

My AUS

#first meets the chain au — the Shadow resurrects the First Hero from the Hyrule Historia Manga. First teams up with the Chain and together they face a new and powerful evil. But that is not the only demon First must conquer.

Angst, fluff, and shenanigans ensue. Featuring an ongoing multichap and a couple ficlets

#fairy time au — an au where Time is half fairy. It’s a secret to everyone (well, most everyone), but despite his best intentions, the entire Chain ends up finding out about it.

Featuring a collection of short snapshots with angst, whump, identity reveals, and even a good helping of fluff

Whumptober day 21 — “you’re safe now”

Continuation to day 10!

*clears throat nervously* Fierce Dadity anyone..?

The whole Fierce Dadity thing is such a fun concept, and trying to write it at least somewhat well was a bit of a challenge for me I’ll admit. I’m usually more for the “angsty possession” view rather than “all powerful deity who is actually a dad”, so I really hope I did it justice...

@skyloftian-nutcase you wanted to be tagged for this :)

Warnings: non-graphic descriptions of injuries, blood and a small bit of vomiting

————————————————————

The Yiga didn’t stand a chance.

Six foot soldiers and a blademaster were nothing to the might of the Fierce Deity, who let out a roar as soon as he took Sky’s place. Time was only barely lucid, but even he flinched a bit at the war cry. The Yiga holding him seemed to have similar reactions, and they fled mere seconds later.

Time fell to the ground after they dropped him, too dazed to catch himself, and drew in a sharp gasp as the raw skin on his chest and back was jarred. He felt like one big scrape, his skin like fire, and he focused intently on not passing out despite how tempting it was.

Sky needed him.

watching bridgerton and obviously there were a lot of things wrong with the way socializing has worked in the past, but honestly the idea of a "calling hour" is so appealing. office hours for friendship. you can show up unannounced at my home between 1 and 3pm. you must leave by 3pm. I may give you a pastry. lets bring that back

“DLC” isn’t just a random string of letters to mean “extra content that doesn’t come with the game itself”

it stands for “downloadable content”

because it was content you downloaded, unlike the game itself, which was on a disc. which you owned.

And before DLC we had Expansions which were big packages of new content, which you installed to add on to the game, and also came on discs. Which you owned.

Differences between red potions and fairies

Red potions:

- are able to be made by different ingredients found in Hyrule

- can cause phantom pains from your previous injury after drinking one. They usually last from a minute to a couple of hours

- can make a red potion to have different levels of strength. For example, you can have a red potion simply heal smaller injuries, while some red potions can heal you entirely if you’re seriously injured (think of hearts in Zelda. Some potions only heal four hearts while others heal 8)

- for it to heal properly, the wounds need to be fully cleaned out, with any debris out of there so nothing is healed over or around anything.

-overall a great alternative to fairies

Fairies:

- fairies are a more natural and divine way to heal yourself.

- fairies do not cause phantom pains. You’ll feel that wound completely gone

- though fairies can only heal so much. If you’re seriously injured, they can definitely heal you and save you from death, but they cannot heal you all the way. There’s nothing you can do to heal that.

- fairies blood can revive dead people or can heal seemingly Incurable things (think of losing function in your hand because of an injury. Fairy’s blood can heal that)

- the wound doesn’t need to be cleaned but any large debris needs to be removed from a wound.
