Baba Anujka, a prolific serial killer from Yugoslavia, killed between 50 and 150 people in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As a herbalist, she sold arsenic-infused “love potions” to women with marriage problems. The women would give the concoction to their husbands, who would die after eight days. She was finally apprehended in 1928 at age 90.
