Hi there! I’ve been really neglecting this tumblr lately - sorry to anyone trying to see my art! If you’d like to keep up with my work, I post more often on instagram. I post a lot of Harry Potter, mermaids, and fancy gals, so if you’re interested in that I hope you’ll follow me there!! <3
If you've ever hung out with me you know I like Harry Potter. If you've ever hung out with me at 2 am you know I LOVE the marauders. I’ve lost track of the original post, but someone was talking about them wearing each others clothes, and i kind of love that idea soooo
Potter Week just ended on instagram and these were my contributions - click on the images for the prompts
I made a new profile picture and business cards for the ICON conference this week! Anyone going?
I’m changing my handles on tumblr
Just a heads up, I’m changing this artblog’s name to naomigiddings.tumblr.com to be a bit more consistent with my other social media. My inspiration blog will now be called naomiahg.tumblr.com. Hope this doesn’t confuse too many people, but I think this works better in the long run!
Proper response to catcalling ft. Mermaid
quick experiment from the other day. x
Decided to participate in the coloring contest @bloodyhellharry is putting on! The lovely lines are theirs, only the coloring is my own. It was a really relaxing exercise - and who doesn’t love coloring some matching cuties <3
Instead of watching the Oscars I watched Dope and it was probably one of my best decisions ever.
I saw Allegiance the musical a few weeks ago and Lea Salonga and her character were definitely the highlight.
Some of my classmates did secret santa! I drew my friend Chris as a dragon god, and Alex drew me some ADORABLE merms. See more of Alex’s super fun work at her website here!
I have a new love and her name is Rey x
Naomi, your drawings inspire me to be a better artist and I wanted you to know. Keep on keeping on!
Wow, thank you! That’s so nice of you to say :’)
Your work is great! Please keep doing what you're doing :)
oh thank you so much! you just made my week :D
There’s a million things I haven’t done, but just you wait!
Illustration for Washington University Political Review article about how the new Broadway musical gives Alexander Hamilton’s life and beliefs modern relevance. I drew this with the soundtrack on repeat and it was probably the happiest I’ve ever been doing “research” for a drawing.
It's getting chilly out there! x
