Dinluke Positivity Week 2023

Heya, welcome to the official Dinluke Positivity Week tumblr! This will be our second year running! Our entire mission is to add some more positive content to the Dinluke tag, and hopefully you can help us.

This blog will serve as a source of information on our event, and also a showcase of all the submissions. Be sure to use #dinlukepositivityweek2023 and tag @dinlukepositivityweek​!

Fic, art, edits, and other media are all allowed! We’ll be welcoming all Dinluke content regardless of the prompts, as long as it follows our general theme and rules.

Timeline

  • Prompt Submissions Open: March 22nd
  • Prompt Voting Opens: June 1st
  • Prompt Announcement: July 16th
  • Event Week: November 12-18 (Sunday - Saturday)

Prompts are finally here!

We've simplified some of the submissions to give creators the opportunity for more broad interpretations, but decided to include one of them as a bonus prompt as well.

As always, feel free to combine, modify, skip, or rearrange the prompts as you see fit. Just be sure to check the rules in our pinned before submitting your projects, and drop an ask if you have any questions.

  • Day 1: A reunion after a long time apart / Pining
  • Day 2: Grogu the Matchmaker / Growing old together
  • Day 3: Secret marriage / Din and Leia as best friends
  • Day 4: Lightsaber training / Din haunted by the ghost of his father in law
  • Day 5: Rebellion era AU / Hurt while protecting the other
  • Day 6: Competency kink / Mid-battle discussions
  • Day 7: Force visions & nightmares / Touch sensitivity
  • BONUS: Luke with a bounty on his head while Din follows him around swatting away hunters like flies

Hello again! I apologize for the radio silence on this blog over the last couple of weeks. Due to a personal emergency I unfortunately fell behind in managing the event.

The event will still be continuing, but on a slightly different schedule to account for the missed days. On July 1st the second round of voting on the prompts will begin, with it closing around two weeks later on July 15th. Prompts will be announced the next day on July 16th. The actual week of the event will remain unchanged. The pinned post will be updated to reflect this new schedule shortly.

Thank you for your patience, and I apologize again for the delay. Excited to see the poll results!
