Who the fuck chooses Torchwood as a comfort show?? There is literally not one happy episode?? Anyways haha I love living in misery ✌🏻

I feel personally attacked.

Seemingly, my version of comfort shows is watching something that reminds me that “it could be worse”, that or the Bee Movie / Shrek. There is no in-between.

My entire thoughts post the Casualty Chrimbo 2 parter can be summarised with this gif.

The episode had potential, was well directed (minus the overuse of flashbacks), but man, am I feeling, well, just ‘meh’ with it.

Because it was set in 2020, they lost so much of the suspense with Iain and Charlie - after all, we already knew they’d be OK. Which just made these two storylines feel pointless.

The Rosie stuff was pretty good, hell, I think I’d have preferred more of that, rather than them throwing in the Iain and Charlie stuff.

Tess coming back definitely comes across as a ‘grab for views’ rather than actually anything that could have contributed to the episode/stories.

I almost feel bad for complaining about it, because it was OK - but honestly, even with the Christmas hiatus, it’ll always be too soon to see another flashback.

has charlie not gone through enough to know that you don’t open a door when there is visible smoke escaping from the bottom?

I’ve watched enough Casualty to know this XD

Can you believe Holby City is bold enough to even imply that Bernie Wolfe can be killed? It just sounds so absurd. KILLED. By whom? By what?

Bernie Wolfe, showing up to her own funeral like: “The reports of my death were greatly exaggerated.”

Bernie Wolfe is immortal, and you can’t change my mind.

Looking back on my tumblr, this aged, like some damn fine wine.

So in catching up with Casualty, I stupidly decided my new faves are Faith and Stevie, and the ‘used to this sh*t’ part of me is just prepared for her (Stevie) to disappear, because Casualty have their whole habit of bringing characters in for one storyline and then having them leave, and I just, eurgh.

And Sah! Love them. It’s about time we have a NB character!

I like the recent episode itself, but the whole flashback thing is confusing and dare I say getting overused and stale in Casualty, I get that they may be compensating for Covid interrupting filming, but it seems that almost every episode I’ve watched has some kind of flashback in it.
