NAULI KRIYA! - WTF is this crazy sh👾t?! - No I am not a malnourished orphan and no I am not hosting an alien life-force or an evil spirit! This is Nauli. It's a yogic cleansing exercise (kriya) that purifies the internal organs and boosts the digestive system through a side-to-side rolling motion of the abdominal muscles. - It’s probably the weirdest thing I do and I do some pretty weird stuff! Root down to rise up... - This advice is relevant both in a handstand and in everyday life. If your foundation, your connection to the earth isn’t strong, you will never find strength in the posture. A tree doesn’t just grow up and out, it creates stability by growing roots deep down and wide into the ground. Sometimes it feels good to move a little slower. Taking the time to enjoy every last moment. I’ve not played on my handstand blocks for ages! Even though they’re really not so far off the ground, somehow they make handstanding waaaaaaaay more scary 😬 BUT it’s good to do scary things! That’s how you get stronger and braver, right?
