A spontaneous drive with your best friend takes an unexpected turn.

Your phone ringing is what pulls you from your slumber. You pull your pillow over your ears, hoping that it will stop, which it does eventually, but as soon as the call ends, the device starts ringing again. You mutter a curse under your breath, opening your eyes a fraction as you struggle to reach the phone, which is kept on the side table. Since you're still disoriented from sleep, it takes you a few unsuccessful attempts to grab it. Squinting your eyes at the sudden brightness, your frown turns into a smile when you see who is calling you.

yeosang made it clear from the start: he didn’t care in the slightest what the students thought of him, his teaching or evaluation methods. neither he cared for their reaction to him, technically a student himself, teaching his juniors. and although he looked like he could be the main hot piece in the staff room hongjoong excluded, there was an obstacle to it.

the answer was simple: yeosang was the problem.

Today, you and Yeosang decided to spend your day off at your shared apartment. The two of you, just wanted to relax and spend some time together.

After both of you had lunch, Yeosang decided to play some games on his computer and you just decided to clean up your living room a bit.

As you were doing that, you found an album full of photos from your childhood. You started going through it and you also took out some of the more interesting photos to show your boyfriend.

When you picked all of the ones you wanted to show him, you walked towards your bedroom where he was still playing on his computer.

“Sangie?”

“Yeah…”

“Can I show you something interesting?” you asked as you looked at him and noticed how focused he was on the screen.

“Yes of course, just give me one second so I can save the game…” he said and you watched as he stopped playing and after a minute he turned to you.

“Now, what do you want to show me beautiful?” he asked as he looked at you from the chair he was sitting at and saw the photos in your hands.

“Well, as I was cleaning up a bit I found this album full of photos from my childhood and I just wanted to show you some of them…”

“Okay, come here and show me” he said as he pointed for you to sit in his lap.

As you started showing him the photos one by one, he was obviously paying close attention to them but he couldn’t help but notice how shaky your hands were. He didn’t want to say anything about it because he didn’t want to make you feel bad but he felt sad that he hadn’t noticed that before.

All of a sudden he held your hand as you were holding one of the photos in front of him and you thought that maybe he couldn’t see it properly because of your shaky hands.

“Sorry babe, my hands are very shaky…you can hold the photos yourself if you want so you can see them better…”

“No, no, no it’s fine beautiful…I can see them perfectly. I just wanted to hold your hand, that’s all”

“Are you sure, Sangie?”

“Yes, I’m sure. It’s okay to have shaky hands especially because I’m here to hold them so don’t worry, beautiful…” he said and that made a smile form on your face.

“Aw, thank you babe… you’re the sweetest” you said and then wrapped your hands around his waist as you placed your head on his chest.

OK GUYS.

Since I've experienced many headaches trying to find ALL THE TWILIGHT FONTS I'm here to give you a complete master rundown of all the fonts used in the Twilight books (those that I own at least) as far as I know.

SO.

1. The Twilight Title Font - Zephyr

This font is used for the titles (no caps) of all the main series books, including Midnight Sun (it is not used for Life and Death: Twilight Reimagined). It is also used in The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide, for the all-red divider pages within sections (Ex. "Covens") and as the font for the Coven Headers and character homes headers (Ex. The Volturi, and The Volturi Lair). This is the easiest font to identify that is used in the series.

2. Character Handwriting Fonts

All of the character's handwriting fonts are ridiculously easy to find and here they are:

1. Bella's - Pablo

2. Edward's - Carmilla

3. Alice's - Joe Hand

4. Jacob's - "Almagro"

5. Charlie's - Asa

6. Aro's - Lucida Blackletter

3. Body Text

Here's where my deep dive required a LOT MORE DETECTIVE WORK.

1. Easier to find was the body font for the main series books: American Garamond BT. Most important distinction here from standard Garamond is the style of the number characters.

2. Requiring old fashioned elbow grease was the body text font for Midnight Sun: Sabon. I identified this by the italics.

4. Chapter Title Fonts

WHO WOULD HAVE GUESSED that this would be the biggest headache in the whole venture?

Midnight Sun was fairly easy, since I'm fairly certain the title font for that is a bog standard Arial. Nothing distinguishing, very easy.

THE MAIN SERIES, ON THE OTHER HAND I'm still not certain i have nailed down, but after a whole week of searching the closest I've come is to pop in "News Cycle" and scale up to 150%.

“there are a lot of things you shouldn’t have said… that you let slip out, you know?”

the shiver in your voice was deceptive; you were more shaken than you let on. the sigh that escaped yeosang, that you read as seemingly out of either hopelessness or annoyance certainly did not help your cause. you threw him a second-long glance, catching it to hurl it towards the messy bedsheet when you met nothing but the back of his head. his hair was messy; a rare sight for an afternoon, and an even clearer indication that your argument just hours before wasn’t trivial at all.

and it genuinely wasn’t.

“we have to talk,” you tried to negotiate. because this is when people always leave, you wanted to add, but didn’t. yeosang’s head turned, startling you with a frown that was barely there, but you could tell it was getting harder for him to suppress.

“i don’t think we’re in the right headspace to talk, y/n,” he breathed out, maintaining the distance between the two of you. you were centimetres away, but the gap seemed to widen the longer you stared at the folds of the white bedsheet.

“that’s what you always say,” you spoke, more out of desperation rather than mockery. you wondered if you should’ve kept quiet afterwards though, seeing as yeosang seemed a little taken aback from your response.

“that’s not true,” he replied.

he probably had more to say, and he probably was speaking right then and there, but you were too out of it to actually take in whatever he was saying. you weren’t sure if the bedsheet was changing colours and getting brighter, or if it was just your vision turning white, making you see flashes of white nothingness. was it just you or were the cars outside the window getting faster and much louder? what was this strange sensation, this odd feeling that seemed to tell you nothing was real?

“y/n?”

yeosang was still frozen in place, staring at your figure; the blank stare you held, thrown on the bedsheet. it took him a heartbeat or two to realise that you were out of it. as soon as he did, he approached you, taking you into his arms, jolting you awake from your state of daze.

it was only after the hug that you let a whimper slip out, though you were pretty sure it was only due to a mixture of both disbelief and uncomfortableness that came from having not experienced an anxiety attack in so long. you let yeosang pat your back soothingly as he cooed, whispering apologies and words of comfort by your ear. gradually, your heartbeat seemed to slow down and sync with his.

“i’m oka-“

“i’m sorry,” he muttered, placing a kiss to the top of your head. “i love you,” he added, placing another kiss to your forehead.

“i’m okay,” you said, though your hands were still shaking. he finally found the courage to look you in the eye, but he couldn’t hold his gaze for too long. he pulled you in for another hug. “i’m sorry i scared you,” you added, but he shook his head.

“no, you did nothing wrong,” he spoke up, looking you in the eye this time. his hand reached up to caress your cheek before he placed his forehead onto yours, closing his eyes as he asked, “can i kiss you?”

you let a chuckle slip and nodded, albeit being shaky. yeosang placed a careful and gentle kiss to your lips, and, although not all at once, your tremors seemed to melt away, slipping into the closed gap; the seemingly never ending bedsheet distance that disappeared with the lovers’ quarrel.
