For a good ten minutes now, there has been this strange, faint ‘whirring’ noise that has been bothering Djimmi. He tried investigating, but he couldn’t quite place what is was or where it was coming from.
Perhaps this friendly-looking stranger could hear it too!
“Pardon the Great Djimmi, ma’am, but do you hear that strange noise?”
Let’s get things going again! Like for a quick starter from Djimmi!

“Bahaha! The Great Djimmi has never been dead, so to speak! He’s just been traveling around, taking care of important genie business and what not!”
“Though, such an absence would make me seem dead! HA!”

Djimmi exits his tent, letting out a big yawn. Seems like he tends to stay in when it’s cold out.
“The Great Djimmi must say, he cannot wait for the Spring! He has had enough of this cold weather!”
“Wouldn’t you agree?”
Looking on over to the source of t-
Oh, it’s Djimmi.
-”Mh, yes ‘n no. In my opinion, I do prefer this cold yer talkin’ ‘bout- but on the other hand, the sunshine is mighty nice, so it varies fer me.”
Djimmi laughed, as always. Leave it to the guy with feathers to actually enjoy the cold.
“The Great Djimmi assumes you enjoy the cold because of your feathers, yes? Must be terrible to have on days where it is blazing out. HA!”
Well, feathers and the fact that not many birds get in his way during the more cloudy weather.
-”Yeh, that’s pretty much it fer me.”
-”’n it’s really not that bad on the hotter days, cause I got the house ta shade me, but when ‘m out ‘n ‘bout without it, I do tend ta heat up after a while.” Finishing with a small shrug, the bird went ahead and briefly ruffled his feathers before looking to the skies above. Hm, looks like it might rain in a few hours.
-”..Question, how do ya not freeze out ‘ere with just that vest of yers?”
“Bahaha! Almost makes the Great Djimmi wish he had feathers!”
“As for heating myself during the cold, the Great Djimmi simply uses a bit of magic to warm himself up!”
To demonstrate his point, Djimmi snapped his fingers three times in quick succession.
“Just like that!”
“Bahaha! You are speaking to Djimmi the Great! At your service!”
It was always a wonderful day for Djimmi when he met a new potential friend. A clown, nonetheless!
“Djimmi is curious. What’s the first thing you plan to do when Spring finally rolls around? Djimmi is thinking of redecorating his tent!”
“Oh, I’m definitely going to hold a carnival-wide spring festival! Once all the snow melts, I’ll decorate the whole place with all kinds of flowers. Bright colors attract crowds; and after the doldrums of winter, a crowd is just what this place needs.”
Claude does half a cartwheel to stand on his hands. “And it’s a pleasure to meet you, Djimmi! You seem like a ge-neat kind of guy!”
Somewhere in the distance, a rimshot goes off at Claude’s pun.
Upon hearing the rimshot, Djimmi quickly glanced around. What was that?
Perhaps he could make one of his own!
“Bahaha! The Great Djimmi is hopes this festival will have sunflowers!”
And now for the kicker.
“And the Great Djimmi is pleased you think he is neat. You know what they say about genies! People wish they were as neat like us!”

No rimshot was heard, sadly.
