My Thoughts on the EndHawks/Hawksdeavor Discourse

“Hawks and Endeavor are 24 years apart!”

1. Hawks and Endeavor are both legal, consenting adults, in every single country in the world.

2. Hawks is extremely mature for his age. Yes, he’s cheeky and teasing. But he’s a top hero and he’s ready to sacrifice his own life for other people. We haven’t seen too much of his backstory, but what we do know implies he had it rough as a kid. It likely helped him grow into someone who’s much wiser than their age woukd dictate.

3. Yes, but he clearly does not love his wife. At this point, he does like her, but there are no romantic feelings between them whatsoever.

“Endeavor is abusive and a terrible person!”

4. Y'all ship Hawks and Dabi too, and Dabi is literally an evil murderer. (no hate on hotwings here, if you ship that go ahead and do ya thang)

5. Endeavor is trying to change. He’s reflected on his past and he knows what he did was wrong. He wants to make up for what he did. Obviously an apology can’t just excuse all the stuff he did, but I believe that Endeavor genuinely wants to change and he’s trying very hard to do so.

So yeah guys, become individuals of culture and start shipping the most canon ship in the manga. winks
