the air on the balcony was cool, cool enough to calm you from the several interactions.
the breeze danced around the delicate fabrics of your dress, shoes being long disregarded as you stood on the railings. you whisper faint and final farewells to the very stars that keep you company on your lowest nights, the garden that you would hide away in when you needed some time alone, and to the very life that you have been blessed with.
you doubt you'd be able to live as lavishly in your next life, (you doubt you'll even remember this one, much less make a comparison) but you decided to let fate take the lead.
"you can feel the midnight air just fine from down here, i don't think the need for elevation is mandatory."
fate has got to be fucking with you right now. you didn't even look at him. you respond:
domesticity — your everyday routine with your boyfriend, aether.
domestic life with aether starts on a monday, as the both of you hide away from the sun beams that peer into your shared rooms. you bury yourself in his shoulder as he buries the both of you in the duvet. it's hot and musty and difficult to breathe but the fact that the two of you are together makes you want to bury yourself further.
when you two (finally) get out of bed, you make your way to the bathroom. your job requires you to be at work earlier than his so while you will get ready, he will make breakfast.
you enter the kitchen to be greeted with a plate of bacon and eggs and a cup of coffee beside it. if that wasn't enough of a treat, aether holds your cheek and kisses the other one. he says softly that he already ate and he'll start getting ready now, and to put the plate in the sink since its his week to wash.
monday through friday is the same cycle, repetitive yet comforting. You two wake up, either getting ready immediately or lounging lazily in the bed for a few more minutes, get ready and leave. weekends, however, hold more surprise than the mundane weekdays.
saturdays are a gamble, it really depends on where you two are going for when you two wake up. aquariums are quite far from your shared apartment so an early wake-up is a necessity, while a mutual friend's family restaurant is just a 20 minute walk away (even shorter if you take an uber, which you'll kinda need to since there's a dress code)
sundays are your "no bones" days. either you two stay in bed all day, stay on the couch all day, or stay wrapped up in blankets on the floor all day.
of curse, this doesnt happen all throughout the week. somedays, mondays are "no bones" days and sundays are cleaning days. sometimes you leave out of your shared home friday morning to return sunday evening.
either way, this every adaptable cycle of domesticity is too lovey to pass up, especially with him.

Anyone would be surprised if a body materialized from thin air right in front of you, lifeless like a doll. You stare at the body, thoughts racing as fast as your heartbeat, and all the while, the man with sun threads as hair lay eerily still on the ground, eyes fluttered shut.
The man is terrifyingly beautiful, like a fallen star. A limp and unmoving fallen star, that is. Your jaw extends to the ground, terrified and—mystified? Immediately, your instincts scream at you to perform emergency measures, but—
A pixie comes barreling in from somewhere, tears running down her cheeks as she zeroes in on the presumably dead body.
“Was he your friend?” you ask quietly, mourning on her behalf. Were they siblings? The way she’s slapping his face around seems so.
“He’s not dead!” the little pixie exclaims, sniffling and shaking the apparently not-dead body.

Saying you were cold was an understatement.
Your toes were numb, your teeth chattering as cold wind breezed your face and nipped at your skin, and you shivered as you glanced at your boyfriend who was having the time of his life.
"-and that's when I told them, 'I'm taken!' See how good of a boyfriend I am? And even though Diluc would totally disagree with what I just said, you would agree with me, right!" Your boyfriend, Venti, chatters away as he holds your hand in his gloved one. His nose is a bit red, but he grins as he catches you staring at him.
"What, admiring your beautiful boyfriend's face?" His teal eyes glimmer, and you flick him on the forehead.
"O-ouch!" He gingerly touches the spot where you just flicked him, and you roll you eyes before going back to shivering.
"It's so cold!" You groan, leaning into Venti. "How are you not cold?"
Venti shushes you, his finger touching your lip as he smilies coyly. "It's a secret!"
You whack him in the head.

You were currently hiding yourself under the blankets from the cold, face buried in the crook of Xiao's neck.
You had turned up the heaters, added an extra layer of socks on your already sock-covered feet, even had been tempted to add another blanket onto your bed had it not been Xiao's grumbling protests that you were gonna die from a heatstroke rather than hypothermia.
"How are you not cold?" You ask, voice muffled as you lean into Xiao's comforting embrace.
"Experience." His hands comb through your hair, cheek resting on your head as he mumbles the words.
"I'm so coldddd." You drag out the words, huffing as you readjust your position, and you can feel a faint smile form on Xiao's face.
You feel his hand travel down to yours, rubbing faint circles on the inside of your wrist. "You said that already." His voice is gruff, annoyed, but Xiao pulls you closer to him.

Had you not came into the cafe that your boyfriend, Kazuha, worked at, you'd probably had been soaked through by now.
Kazuha hands you some warm, steaming tea as he sits next to you at a table booth, a sympathetic smile on his face as he examines your drenched state. "Forgot your umbrella again?" He hums, cheek resting on his palm. He doesn't say it in a rude way, more of a "I-Know-You-Checked-The-Weather-Forecast-And-Ignored-It-Because-You-Thought-It-Was-Lying," kinda way.
You huff, slouching as you laid your cheek on the cool table surface, hands wrapped around the cup of tea Kazuha handed you. "How was I suppose to know that a ten percent chance of rain would mean It would start storming?" You protest, and Kazuha laughs.
"Okay, okay," He chuckles, getting up from his seat and pressing a kiss on your cheek.

"How are you not freezing? Are you even human?" You're insistent questions earn you a glare from Scaramouche.
"It's not even that cold." He rolls his eyes, readjusting his grip on your hand before sighing. "We're almost back to our apartment, then you can stop complaining."
"I'm not complaining, I'm stating facts!" You exclaim. "It's like-It's like a freezer in here!" You see Scaramouche rolling his eyes-again, and he huffs.
"What kind of analogy is that?" He snarks, and this time your the one who rolls your eyes.
"Forgive me for not suddenly being the greatest poet to be ever known when it comes to explaining how fucking cold it is here!" You grumble, and your boyfriend sighs at that.
"Okay, okay, c'mon we're almost home. Then you can go start complaining about how hot it is in their," Scaramouche says, and you beam.

"I-I'm not cold," You grumble as Aether glances at you worriedly while you wipe your nose with the back of your sleeve.
"Uh huh..." He takes your hand in his, and he eyes you with a concerned glint in his eyes. "And I'm not the better twin." You snicker at that, and he grins.
"Lumine would kill you if she heard that." You smile, and suddenly you feel the soft material of a scarf on your neck, and you frown. "Aether-"
"You look, really, really cold." He clicks his tongue, and you roll your eyes. "I've been through worse weather." You huff, a hand on the scarf that Aether gave you.
He rolls his eyes. "Stop acting so high and mighty." He jabs you in the stomach playfully, and you yelp.
"Okay-okay, sorry! I'm so cold, wow, is it cold in here or is it just me?"

— xiao, who... glances at your fingers often, a longing gaze that's only present when he thinks your eyes aren't on him. he's too scared to reach out and take your hand, intertwining his and yours fingers together, despite how much he yearns for the feeling of you. he wants your warmth. it's bright, it's comforting, it soothes something restless inside him. your presence is radiant, like the sun's rays, and he wants to bask in it.
"xiao?" your voice snaps him out of his thoughts, and his face instantly warms the slightest. he's been caught, hasn't he? he slowly trails his golden eyes up to your face with a rather sheepish expression, like a criminal caught in the act.
"...yes?" shit, his voice sounds way too tentative. if you hadn't noticed anything off before, you certainly did now. his cold enough exterior remains as he watches you try to hold back a bout of laughter.
"love. if you want to hold my hand, you don't need to ask."
swiftly, like the cunning being you are, you take his hand in yours, just how he wanted to. there's warmth in your hand, and he can feel it through his gloves. not enough. he withdraws with reluctance, spurring confusion in you. "oh, did i assume wrong? sorry, i didn't think..." your words trail off as you watch xiao swiftly dispose of his gloves, and then his fingers are intertwined with yours, his callused hands against your smooth ones.
"then..." his face is noticeably red, and the gold in his eyes seems to have softened at your touch. he brings up the back of your hand to his lips, his words leaving the ghost of a breath lingering on your skin. "this is okay, right?" his fleeting lips kiss them in a way so gentle you'd thought never be possible, and you don't need a mirror to tell how flustered he's made you.
"xiao, you-"
"don't refuse me now, love."
— childe, who... tends to stand behind you a lot, just so that he can glare at whoever you're talking to that's speaking a little too comfortably. his dead eyes will give them a brief answer, and then he'll scoff under his breath, as if they aren't worth his attention. small pests like this lived to be exterminated, and he'd be happy to do the honors, but the way your smiling without a care in the world makes him pause.
"childe, we need to talk." your voice is serious. fuck, were you going to break up with him? had he not been good enough? fatui duties were so annoyingly persistent, but he'd finished them up as fast as he could so he could come home to you, like he promised... was that not enough? of course it wasn't enough, he should've-

you're cut short as the taller man engulfs you in a tight hug, using a hand on the back of your head to press you against him. your face is on his chest, and through the fabric you can hear how his heart races.
"you can't scare me like this, love. not again, pinky promise?"

“What are you working on?” Your eyes peer curiously over the table he sits at (you've always been the type to bulldoze your way into any situation, a quality he normally loved about you but not right now), “I'm your partner, you don't need to be all Mr. Mysterious all the time, y’know—”
Your words cut off, and all you can do is stare wordlessly at the mess that litters his surroundings: empty miniature cleaner bottles and crumpled tissue papers sporadically tossed on the floor without a care in the world. “Oh.” You say simply, setting the bag on the table.

Im sorry for sending this late, i was very busy, here it is :D
im a 17 year old straight guy, im currently studying laws and rights and i sometimes do volunteer jobs whanever i have free time or its my vacations between university days. Im pretty smart, im kind of creative and a bit of dexterous, i like drawing (if you want you can send me a request and i will try) i also like doing paperwork such as papercrafts and origami, i like reading books, most of them are known writers from either my country such as Jose Maria Arguedas or other countrys such as Dostoevski, Pablo Neruda or Franz kafka, i also love watching movies in the cinema whanever my dad or someone wants to go with me, i love playing videogames, one of my favourites are Genshin impact and God of war. Personality wise, im pretty reserved and i like things to be well made, im pretty quiet when im in a new enviorement outside of my comfort zone, i find it hard to make new friends but, with the ones i already have im pretty close with them, i usually go out to the cinema with them or play videogames, or even share toughts of daily life, tough, when i dislike someone i really dislike him, i pretty much remember what anything has done to me, in that part i can be quite rancorous.
I love travelling, usually every vacation i have after the volunteer work ends i go visit my grand parents in other city and pretty much live with them in what is left of my vacations, i would like to go to england or United States, i would like to go to any europe country or other continents.
At some points my friends started associating me with a capybara due to how calm and quiet im in new places and how affectionate i can be to them. Idk what else to say but thank you for taking the time to do this match up, even tough you dont do them anymore, have an amazing day or night, and take care of yourself 🙂

How could you, really? When Aether has his head resting on your shoulder emanating peace? You can’t. You simply can’t resist it when it’s not so often you get to see his eyebrows relaxed, not furrowed or pinched downward. Or his eyes fluttered shut, not flashing with contempt or agony.
You think to yourself that if there ever comes a day where you make a terrible decision, it would be today, when your heart is beating out of your chest, and Aether won’t be awake to embarrass you after.
Carefully, you rest your hand on the crown of his head to keep him from slipping off your shoulder, and shift until you’re facing him directly. His cheek is pressed against the front of your shoulder, and there might be a trace of drool in his slumber, though you hardly care about that.
