Long Belated Update
Hello, everyone! Here’s an update, the following section written by the team’s composer, which has been announced on Discord. ~~~~~
Hey there, @everyone! So me and the team have said that we have a plan for ADiT going forward, but the thing is that we never actually told you The Plan (Trademark, patent pending). Bit overdue now, but here it is!
Going forward, we’re scaling back the sizes of our updates for each build. Instead of trying to get every character done for an area, we’re only laser-focusing on one character’s route per update. As for who we’re starting with, well, we’re somewhat going back to our routes and we’ll be releasing Snatcher first!
We’re still in early development for his route, but we know what it’s going to be and all that jazz
The reasoning is mostly due to the size of the team and the amount of work we can reasonably put into the game without it being too much. Especially art and writing wise. Also, applications will be open at some point soon, so if you were wanting to join the team as an artist or writer, be on the lookout for that! So, yeah! I hope y’all are doing well and have a great day! ~~~~
Given that many of us on the team have become very busy due to jobs, life, and health, we’ve relaxed the process for applying. We’re looking for artists and especially writers and programmers at the moment, and all you have to do is join the discord. You can DM me or a mod, or if you don’t want to or feel uncomfortable with that for any reason, you can also post in #application-zone to get feedback from the dev team as well as fellow fans, making for a more open and transparent process.
Depending on how quickly this progresses, our goal for the next playable build is for a full release of the Snatcher path- specifically, the neutral end path only. This is so we can test new features and systems we’ve implemented since the last build, and see what you all think of them!
