ATTENTION

Hi everyone! So after talking it over with Gal we have decided to put Jaje and Rug’s adventure on pause for now. Hopefully their adventures will resume at a later date but for now it’s on pause. All questions about Rug and with Rug will be paused for now but I will get back to it. 

 The TWINS on the other hand will still be around to answer questions and terrorize, (I will catch up on answers asap) but I would like to direct you to another project I will be working on which involve Doppelers and indirectly the Twins. They know some things about the twins, and it’s a colorful cast of characters. @nextuniverseover is a sort of extension of the alien world, imagine it as the galaxy just outside of the WOY one, where characters interact and communicate with others like an ask blog! I’m working on it and so is the person behind @theskullshipgarden  We’re still setting up all the characters but feel free to interact if you wish. There’s going to be alien versions of Duplex and Bonzai, and twins will be involved with that too.  Sorry everyone about the pause but I hope maybe these things can tie you over!

Facts about Rug-Nara

Rug- Nara (dubbed by Jaje)

Age: Well over 200 years

- Her two shifts are:

An orange rug

A cobra

- She was once bitter in her past toward people because of the way she was treated for being a defect of her species. She went through different phases in an effort to find happiness, even solitude, but nothing helped.

- She used to live a life of crime in the past, being in and out of jail for crimes and trashing different planets with her gang buddies. She stuck with the gang, believing that these criminals were the closest things to friends that she would ever get, but they eventually betrayed her. 

- She was framed for a murder and sent to prison for a crime she didn't commit when one of the gang members she was friends with pinned the blame on her so he wouldn't go to prison.

- It took her years till one person showed her an abundance of care and kindness, even when she acted rude toward them, her anger and hurt was met with patient kindness.

- The kindness of one person eventually helped shape her to be kind toward others, because she knew what it was like to feel unloved.

- She has had times where her romantic affections toward someone was not returned and she's learned to be careful after all these years and not jump to conclusions or assume someone loves her unless they show it and say it.

- She's seen people she cared about grow up and die due to her longevity, and even though she's learned to tolerate death, it still resonates with her if it's someone she cares about. Especially if someone dies before it's their time to go (see jacepi-jaje). That can shake her up despite herself.

- There's been times she's taken guys who wanted to date her and directed them toward someone else because she knew she would outlive them and didn't want any hurt to come to them.

- Loves tea to pieces she will buy up a whole store just to have tea. - She knows how to fight fairly well for her past jobs but she doesn't like to pull punches unless it was absolutely necessary

- She has a mischievous side and sometimes she just can't help herself but do something a little snotty.

- She spends 2 hours sometimes picking things out of her fur

- She has been accidentally mistaken for a rug multiple times and ended up as a prop for a movie once.

- She loves chocolate to pieces, even though it messes her fur, she would submerge herself in a pool of chocolate if she could 

- She got to travel with a band without being actually part of a band because one band member liked having a cobra draped around his neck when he performed. It caused her to be exposed to a variety of music at least.

- She likes to watch foreign movies outside of the Universal Language, especially mysteries, and at times wishes she had someone else to enjoy and appreciate it with.

So there were some requests of me delving into the characters that I was writing and drawing. There's some information I’m keeping vague because it’s spoiler information that will be revealed as the story continues.

So here we go the Twin Antagonists!

Lavette (the blue one) Age: ???

- She used to be quiet and reserved at one stage. You had to be her closest friend in order to get her to crawl out of her shell. She was more bubbly and talkative around her brother, but only him.

- She used to be easily swayed by people's opinions, and she looked up to her brother so much so that she would follow him like a lost puppy in whatever opinion or belief he had.

- As time progressed her personality changed for the worse, she lost the soft spot of being affected by people's words but on the flip side she's overly aggressive and spiteful even at times. She went from one extreme to the other in an unhealthy way.

- She enjoys the little things that make people break down. Even going out of her way to make her targets to feel miserable and hopeless just to get a rise out of them.

- She is the more immature of the twin but also the most deadly due to her abilities. Her abilities are the ability to touch something and glitch reality. So her power can freeze someone in place and make them appear as if they were glitched out. This causes the glitched person to slowly disintegrate, and it’s a very slow painful death. So far no one has figured out how to reverse it unless she herself unglitches a person.  

- She likes internet memes and tries to get her brother to understand but it is beyond his understanding. She's tried to get a few trending but none worked. - She has a high chair that she cranks to raise herself up to Ignatius's level. She likes to feel tall at times.

- She isn't able to shift into her two forms like most of her species.

- She thinks having pets is stupid and doesn't see the point in owning them, but she sure gets a kick out of seeing the pet owners' distress when the pets die. (See Jacepi)

- She can distort her appearance like a hologram but doesn't use it often because it takes up a lot of energy. Usually she uses it when she wants to rub something sad in a person's face, like a loved one or friend by saying terrible things (See Jacepi again)

- She has a stash of space pockys that she hides around the ship to snack on without Ignatius knowing.

- She's overly confident and will often do stupid things (like tell everyone she's at a diner) only to rub it in people's faces because she knows they can't do anything about it.

- She is a tech whiz and smart when it comes to computers, she could probably hack into a computer even without her glitch ability.

Ignatius (dark grey)

Age: Same as Lavette but ???

- Stoic most of the time though he is terrifying when he is angry

- It is unclear if he has a second shift and if he can shift at all

- He enjoys the quiet at times to wind down, but tolerates his sister's over abundant vigor and energy, only because she's his sister. If anyone else tried to be annoying he'd throw them into another planet.

- he started out very passionate in his twisted beliefs of trying to make each galaxy a better place but his energy is beginning to fade.

- He's surprisingly good with animals and treats them gently despite his hands being made of rock.

- He will sometimes talk to the Gergs when Lavette isn't looking and pet them. His deep voice raises a few octaves when he talks to them in private.

- If you threaten his sister you are dead.

- He saw potential in Gergs being good  weapons when no one else did. He doesn't care if they don't look as threatening as a bot force, it's the results and least amount of clean up work that he cares about.

- He can eat and drink sickeningly sweet stuff without gagging. He enjoys it and can eat & drink pure sugar straight. He likes to gross his sister out by doing that.

- He jams Lavette's high chair when he's frustrated at her so she can't crank it up.

- It's very hard to tell what he's thinking sometimes, he has to be incredibly distressed or angry for emotions to appear on his face.

Twins Together:

- They used to work as bounty hunters in their early days but it didn't end well for them.

- They train together. Ignatius is the one who first trained Lavette in fighting but now she is reaching lethal on a dangerous level and he's noting that.

- They are incredibly close with each other as siblings, even their fights never end on a drastic note.

- Ignatius would rather put someone quickly out of their misery while Lavette would rather let the pain be strung out in a cruel way.

- Their ship was remodeled by themselves. It started out as a run down ship from a junk heap and they bought parts and fixed it up to become a highly advanced, capable spaceship now.

- They are under the pretense that they are the overseers of each Galaxy and that cleansing some species out, amongst other things, is them doing good to the Galaxy. They believe they are the good guys.
