Sunday Six, May 16

Here’s a six-sentence excerpt from my new Elio/Oliver story Bring me the sunset in a cup. 

Set in 1950s Montauk and 1960s Rome, the first chapter of the story will be posting tomorrow (at last, after eight months of just talking about it!). 

“Yes, now. We’ll take the lamp, of course. In case you’re afraid of the dark.”

“In case I’m—” he laughed, now incredulous. At the end of the summer, would I miss that laugh or be glad that it was gone? “Let’s go.”
