Are you doing well? Have you gotten used to life at school? How is the food in America? (I’ve heard it’s not very tasty.) Right now I was thinking  “It’d be so nice if I received a reply from Niko…” so I decided to write this letter. The person who always loves you deeply is not just some person, but me, your mother. Though I think that you can’t imagine that anymore.

Over here, the cherry blossoms are starting to fall from their trees. When I see this, I think about how the dry and chilly season is here again and get sad. You already know this, but - - -

Out of curiosity...

Reblog with the name of the last Choices story that you read and really, really enjoyed.

For me, it was CoP1, but I only read that last summer. Prior to that, it was Wake the Dead.

If we're including currently releasing books as well, then it's The Deadliest Game. I only really didn't care for one diamond scene so far (the one with Dante in chapter 7).

If we're talking completed books only, then it's Wake the Dead.

These results make me a bit sad. More of us should have read this little gem!

Yeah, yeah, says the girl who only finished reading it exactly a week ago.. after she had it lying around on her desk for a year and a half.. 🫣😅

But seriously, when I finally picked it up, I literally couldn't put it down. It just sucks you in. And it's also truly funny (at times).

Just shy of three years ago, I happily stepped in to help when @choicesficwriterscreations needed assistance with CFWC Fics of the Week. Shortly thereafter, the blog's original creator, @loricreates, was ready to step down, and along with @lucy-268 I was honored to take over and continue the great work Lori had started.

The CFWC archive provides an invaluable service to our fandom, but it was always so much more to me. It's a place where people connect, friendships are fostered, and our incredibly talented creators have a chance to be seen and appreciated.

It has been my pleasure to serve as CFWC's mod, and I'm very proud of the contributions I have made during that time. But it's also a lot of work, and lately, it was beginning to feel like a chore. That's when I knew it was time to say goodbye. I'm not going far; I'll still be in the fandom. I may even show up here to help host a special event or two in the future, but for now, I want to spend my time concentrating on other things, both in and outside of the fandom. That includes my writing, catching up on reading, and supporting each of you.

I want to thank @lorircreates, CFWC's founder, for her vision, for creating this space, and for entrusting it to me. It was an honor to take the reins from you, and I hope we've done your "baby" proud.

I want to thank @lucy-268, who was a dream co-moderator. We sure had a lot of good (and crazy) times running the blog together. I'm so glad this fandom brought us together... and we'll stay that way long after this fandom is gone. 💙

I'd like to thank @liaromancewriter, who has graciously offered to take over so that CFWC can continue. Please join me in welcoming Mal as the blog's new moderator! It makes me feel much better knowing I'm leaving CFWC in your hands!

Most of all, I want to thank all of you. Each and every one of you has made our fandom what it is. The creators who make us laugh, cry, and feel things we never expected to feel. The readers and art fans who have encouraged everyone along the way. Everyone who has ever "geeked out" over a beloved story, character, or OC together. Through CFWC, I've gotten to know many of you better, and that has been the best part of the time I've spent here.

So this is my final CFWC post... one last time! :) I can't wait to see what the future brings! 😘

Honestly - I have LOVED the time I've spent as CFWC Mod, and I wouldn't trade it for the world. But I've been toying with this decision for some time and, like many tough CHOICES, I really stressed over it, but once I made the final decision, I felt so happy and so relieved! This is like my retirement bash, and I'm celebrating! lol

Thank you for your love & support through the past years - I'm so happy for what the future holds! 😘😘😘

Enjoy your retirement (since it might be the only one you'll get to experience 😝)! You more than deserve it for all the hard work you've put into CFWC!

Although I have to admit I am selfishly glad that you'll finally have time for our weekend transatlantic TV time.. I feel like we haven't watched anything in forever! Lol. J/K.

Ooh! I thought they should do a book for us MLM and WLW players for a long time but never actually thought they would.. 👀

Yeah, it's April. lol But I always wanted art for this part of Tobias & Casey's story, and as I revamped this series to move their HC along, I decided to go for it. (Hell, who knows if I'll even be here in December.) So... here it is. Once again, Instagram's @/artbyainna knocked it out of the park.

My babies were not a couple at this point... I know... they sure look like they are... but they were still stubbornly clinging to that "just friends" thing because the denial was strong! lol
