“Oh, well that’s very cool. So, can you tell me where is your mother? I really love to meet her.”

                    “My mother, actually passed away. It was about four years ago. It’s never really been easy to get over.”

“Oh, so it isn’t bad? So, what do you like to do…if you have some spare time?”

        “Well, I like to play the piano. My mother taught me how too. I know it might sound silly, but being able to play makes it feel like she is with me. I also get to hang out with my friends sometimes if it’s scheduled so..”

“Man, your life must be really hard for you. Not hanging out with your friends. Not be able to do fun things.”

                                  “Well... I mean it’s not so bad.”

      He replied while rubbing the back of his neck. Even if he did admit he hated the limitations. 

“Oh, that really sucks, man. So… Do you wanna come Trick or Treating with me? It’s gonna be a lot of fun!”

     “I don’t even know if I will be able to get away to go. It’s not exactly easy to get away.”

“Wait…you never went Trick or Treating before? Not once, dude?”

                   “Nope. My mansion doesn’t even accept Trick-or-Treaters. It was considered unnecessary distractions and a danger.”

╰ ☘ ╮Tikki explained taking a strawberry from the bowl and started to nibble on it. She would prefer chocolate chip cookies, but fruit was significantly easier to get in a hospital. She glanced at Chat Noir, worry for the other chosen filled her eyes. She knew that this was probably going to be his greatest trial ever. She would do everything that she could to help him succeeded, she also couldn’t help but worry for him as she’s seen countless chosen fail at this exact same situation. 

⊰You were chosen for a reason Chat. Have faith in that.⊱

                      “It’ not that I am doubting my abilities. It’s just, Ladybug has the power to heal and I destroy things. I guess I just wonder if I will be abl to do both of our jobs.” 

        A small weak formed on his lips as he spoke. Eyes closing briefly to think about Marinette before his eyes once again re opened. He needed to make sure she could recover. He needed to allot her that time to both be well in body and mind. He will do his best to give her that time. 

                      “I know she will pull through however, Marinette, so until then let’s make sure she has as much time as she needs to recover.” He replied and smiled at Tikki.

   ℋearing his kwami’s words helped made her relieved to know her partner and friend would be okay.

   Ladybug’s eyes turned towards the direction of the sound knowing full well her friend was finally waking up. She quickly went to his side seeing him stir slowly up and familiarize himself with the surroundings.

   “Hey take it easy. That was quite a hit you took.”

>  The one thing she didn’t do was call out his name especially now knowing the identity of her cat partner happened to be her crush. She watched  as he was able to get in a sitting position but saw the pain on his face as well as the hiss that followed. “Yeah, you’re head. We should get that taken care of soon.”

        Wait... he was Adrien. Oh this was bad, this was very very bad. Had she seen him turn transform back? If so wouldn’t she have said something? Pausing he glanced to look at Plagg who was just floating there. Emerald eyes widening further before looking back up at the spotted heroine. 

                 “Uhhhhh... of course I will get it checked out ladybug! I mean it be silly if I didn’t and my father would kill me!”

         An awkward laugh soon followed and he was pretty sure he could see Plagg face palming on his shoulder. 

“You mean my entire life before becoming successful enough to not have to anymore?” He snapped, glaring.

“I’ve failed many times, Adrien. I do not wish that upon you, nor do I wish for you to have to do things on your own if you don’t need to.”

         “It not like I’m asking for a solar system! I just want to learn to bake! You make it sound like I’m asking you to drag the moon here and put it in a vacuum safe bag!” 

        However it was clear he struck a nerve with his last comment so he was now avoiding that like Plagg avoids anything romantic.
