I said I would be late, but I think I’m still in time for this last submission for @winter-atla-femslash week !

The last prompt was “Dancing” or “Fantasy AU” or “Free day” : I wanted at first to draw Kyalin dancing, and I then remembered the wonderful fanfiction “A Dance with pride” by @songbookff for Kyalin Week 2020 (go on A3O and check their really good work!). And then, I wanted to draw Lin in a suit like in their fanfiction. So here are Kya and Lin, dressed for the ball and facing paparazzis :) I hope it fits a little to what they had in mind when they wrote this story !

I intended to draw the entrance of City Hall in the background, but I’ve spent a looot of time on this one and I’m afraid to be late for my submission, so maybe I’ll update it later.

I used this tutorial to try new techniques of coloring (no line, more textures, shadows…). That wasn’t easy, but I learned some tricks for the faces (there is still looots to improve !) !

ok so I told myself that I was gonna participate in the winter atla femslash week but I was too lazy so I chose my favorite prompt (day 2: baking/domesticity/angst) and drew this :3

In hindsight, maybe hanging her impulsive stress purchase in her shared apartment without telling her roommate and girlfriend about it in advance was a stupid idea.

It may have been even more stupid to forget that she hung it up and then go to the store.

Summary: Toph has been pining after Suki for a while, will a trip to the beach help get them together?

Its the last day of @winter-atla-femslash​ week and it has been fun. The pairing is Rangshi and the prompt is Fantasy AU. Me and my inconsistent brain decided to combine a hanfu and a kimono to make Rangi’s dress so that’s what she’s wearing. Rangi is apparently a creature called a wyrm but then I made it fiery. I’d imagine Rangi being a volcano spirit that’s kind of like Haku from Spirited away. The quote is also from Spirited away.

Professor Izumi has lunch with her quirky new colleague. 🥙 A Kya/Izumi (LoK) fic written for @winter-atla-femslash week! Originally for the college AU prompt, but finished late / 2.5k / ao3

“Come in,” Izumi called. As she did, she reached over to lift the hefty pile of new books off the spare chair and deposit them on the desk instead.

When the door of her office swung open and Kya peered in, Izumi wasn’t sure what to feel, and it showed on her face. Call me Kya :), the new professor had signed off on their last email this morning. 

“I—Kya, hello,” she said, smiling curtly. “Please sit. It’s a pleasure to finally meet you.”  

Kya was irreverent. Izumi knew that much because she had postponed their official first meeting last minute, and had the gall to send her a smiley-faced email about it. ‘Duty calls’, she’d written, duty being that her elderly mother needed urgent company to the market downtown because they had a rare shipment of her favourite fruit. 

Duty, Izumi would have thought, called her to meet with her new colleague—technically her superior, no less—and one who had a schedule tighter than the smile she wore now.

Kya read the tension easily, barely a second into the room; maybe she had expected it. She uncrossed her arms as she sat, but rather than steeling, her polite smile went up into her eyes, and Izumi was unexpectedly disarmed.

Dancing - Korrasami

Last day of @winter-atla-femslash week. This work is available here on AO3. 

The sea was at war with the sky, and Korra was trapped on the battlefield. Waves buffeted the sides of her wooden dinghy. She struggled just to sit upright amidst the storm, nevermind trying to paddle. Lightning flickered and she caught a brief glimpse of the distant island.

A voice came from below. Another flash of light revealed the pale, wet face of a girl in the water. The girl said something, eyes wide and panicked. She pointed behind the dinghy. Korra turned to see a rearing tower of seawater. The wave seemed to hover for a moment, relishing the attack, before slamming into the boat.
