Merry and Pippin in the middle boat were ill at ease, for Boromir sat muttering to himself, sometimes biting his nails, as if some restlessness or doubt consumed him, sometimes seizing a paddle and driving the boat close behind Aragorn's. Then Pippin, who sat in the bow looking back, caught a queer gleam in his eye, as he peered forward gazing at Frodo.

Listen, I know everyone and their mother has drawn this screengrab, but the thing I love most about it is the flash of fear on Boromir's face. It's so quick but so potent--he KNOWS he can't protect Merry and Pippin on his own.

On Friday I went to Lord Of The Rings marathon (this was kinda busy week, wasn’t it? ;)), which is something I’ve always wanted to do, but never got a chance, because no cinema in my city organises this kind of stuff. But one just has to move out to slightly bigger city and voila - dreams come true! ;)

It was awesome and I just had to paint Sean Bean again. Never painted him as Boromir though.
