This poll is a celebration of fandom history; we're aware that there are certain issues with many of the listed pairings and sources, but they are a part of that history. Please do not take this as an endorsement, and refrain from harassment.

Wait actually I’m interested. What is a tattoo that you want to get?
it has occurred to me, as I age, that most people did not spend their childhoods getting simplified breakdowns of class-action lawsuits explained to them over dinner at least once a week
I ABSOLUTELY encourage people to keep reblogging and commenting on this with their own niche secondhand expertises from their parents’ careers
I have three modes of reading
The scale of time when these sculptures were made is difficult for a human mind to comprehend. Fat women have been appreciated and revered in art since art began. The modern view is the outlier, not the norm.

I saw a reproduction of the Venus of Willendorf at the Museum of Natural History in NYC around 30 years go, and I was struck so hard by her. Right in the heart. I was literally moved to tears because that is my body. Right there. That's what I have looked like most of my adult life. And someone lovingly carved that figurine tens of thousands of years ago. She meant something, and looking like that meant something. 30 years ago fat acceptance was a pipe dream, and that moment, for me, was transformative. I've been working on fat acceptance ever since. Sometimes in bigger ways than others, but always striving. I'm so glad so many folks out there have picked this up and are running with it.

Some doodles based off of @i-spilled-my-soup ‘s post about Leo.
I love Leo Valdez, and I needed an excuse to draw him.
Another Percy except this time his hair is fluffier and I gave up on the background and clothes
Sorry it’s been ages : time’s done that funny thing where you blink and suddenly two weeks have gone by .
[Image description : A drawing of Percy Jackson from the thighs up. He is wearing a white shirt with a blue collar and trim of the pockets tucked into blue jeans. He is also wearing a orange camp half blood jacket. He has a mildly confused expression and his hands tucked into his pockets. There is a cyan background ]
