Some images I took myself of the same parts of the Temple of Isis at Philae in September 2022, 160 years later.

So I meant to do this the other day when the Dan Savage podcast came out, but I was on vacation and it slipped my mind in all the madness of trying to just get a working link out for people. But here is the link to where you can comment on that podcast episode. As far as I know, you don’t have to be subscribed to leave a comment, because I wasn’t logged in when I went to the page and could read what was already there (I haven’t had time to leave my own comment yet but I plan to do so when I have a break). Right now there are only 3 comments, 2 of which are Armie-negative (to be expected given his listener base). The other is more neutral and mostly discusses the link between Armie’s childhood trauma and his dominance kink. Anyway, I feel like it’s important we go leave positive comments on the episode because Dan’s reach and influence is massive, and I think him having a personal link to Jamie could help motivate him to talk more about this issue in the future, but he won’t if he doesn’t think his listeners will care. But we definitely do. So go here and leave a comment thanking him for being open to what Jamie had to say, because knowing where Dan started on all of this, his current attitude is a HUGE win.

I’m also going to listen to his newest Savage Love podcast to see if he mentions anything about his conversation with Jamie or the response to it. He sometimes reads out tweets people send him at the end of his shows regarding past episodes, but since the Armie stuff was technically on a different podcast, he might not. I’ll listen and report back if there’s anything of interest. ❤️

I understand Elizabeth has a social media addiction but she literally has no self awareness or filter for anything she posts. This makes her look AWFUL.

- 8 yr old child has a phone

- 8 yr old child potentially left alone at house (hotel?)

- 8 yr old child alone for so long that she wonders where her friend is (and expresses shock at “on the way”)

- 8 yr old told to make their own way to beach, potentially from a hotel, unsupervised?! Possible roads to cross along the way, doors to lock properly, stranger danger?!

- Mother at beach while child home alone unfazed when child informs her she has been alone much longer than expected.

- Mother at beach putting child down for wanting some form of company/clarity after being left alone too long.

- I can’t even begin to break down “it’s not like you’re being tortured” - as if that’s in any way the point this CHILD is making - but it does guilt trip Harper to feel like she has overly complained about entirely reasonable confusion for a child to have!

- Making a child feel like natural concern is complaining or talking out of turn/bothers adults. Good going for the next time she wants clarity when alone and feels too nervous to ask!

- Expecting an 8 yr old left by themselves to understand what “perspective” means in this context (and it doesn’t even really apply to this context either…a child left alone doesn’t need perspective, a child left alone needs supervision ASAP or they need clarity on when they will have someone with them) I think she might mean “patience” but ya know…wouldn’t be EC if we weren’t using the completely wrong term for something.

- The “oh shit love you” bandaid responses. This kid knows how mother communicates/responds positively - by being showered in love/praise at all times. And that’s why Harps got the screenshot “send help” humiliation “Ugh look what I put up with!” treatment - because she bothered Mother Dearest while she was busy taking selfies at the beach.

- Last few messages indicate H is now too scared to ask how much longer she has to be alone.

- Flashbacks to Ford splitting his cheek open “rolling out of bed” and Harper’s serious burn injuries all down her arm and leg. Flashbacks to “trying to be more present with the babes”…Flashback to all the ig stories shitting on deadbeat or “babysitter” dads…

- Thinking about the swift consequences and backlash if it were Armie who posted anything like this. All the “toxic dads who refuse to lift a finger” thinkpieces…
