TWO STEPS FORWARD - A Don’t Starve Together Roleplaying Server
So, Charlie has taken over the Nightmare Throne and control of the world. Its unlucky denizens are still trapped, but thanks to Wilson and Maxwell’s portal, they’ve come together to gain strength in numbers. But what happens after?
Well, people seemed vaguely interested in my idea, so let’s give it a test run, shall we? A relatively casual RPing server for the characters of Don’t Starve. The world is standard settings, slight display/tweak mods (including Shipwrecked characters), no caves, PVP on, Social, Survival Mode (with limited use of infinite resurrection mods), and password protected.We’ll be communicating through a Discord group.
Rules:
- RP content is to remain PG-13, though ooc chat may occasionally hover slightly above that. Sexual allusions may happen in both. Just fair warning.
- Absolutely NO griefing. Even if it’d be in character for you to destroy stuff or kill players, OOC communication is key. Don’t screw up anything huge without majority consent. This includes setting big things on fire, destroying part or all of base/supplies, et cetera. Generally, don’t be a jerk.
- This is an RP server. Keep random chitchat to OOC venues, and the server for RPing or RP-related OOC communication.
- Do not harass others; be courteous and try to be mature. If someone asks you to stop doing something for a legitimate reason, you stop.
- Please come in with the spirit of having fun in mind. This isn’t meant to be competitive or too serious.
- If you’re going to be inactive, PLEASE LET ME KNOW. Schedule is often discussed in the Discord and it should be an understanding of when the srver will be up so everyone can be on at the same time.
- People are allowed to claim Shipwrecked Characters thanks to the Shipwrecked Characters mod by cheesenuggetsart.
To claim a character and get the server password, message me on this blog (IM or ask), or on Steam (PaperLaur) with the character you’d like to claim and what times you’re available. First come, first served. I’ll give you the link to the Discord chat afterwards

It’s been a long while since I’ve updated this post, but a lot of the lineup has changed in that time, sorry about not keeping updated. We did just lose a couple plot-relevant roles, though.
You can see the changes above, but most recently, we’ve sadly lost our Woodie and Wes. Those roles are now open, along with Wendy, Webber, Warly [tentatively], Walani, Woodlegs, and Wilbur.
