The person who has come to us about this has requested to stay anonymous. In this callout we will detail what has happened, other people involved who will be anon (unless we have permission otherwise), and provide as many screenshots as we can.
A summary: Sypha is a long time friend of three people. All three people have been manipulated, used, gaslighted and invalidated by her. Invalidation of triggers, being forced into corners and afraid of speaking up, sent nsfw when non complying, guilt tripped heavily when opposing her or doing something wrong, used for therapy, and more. Wanting to branch into writing more diverse characters? Wanting to include representation for those who are neurodivergent, disabled, or chronically ill? The first step to branching out is to research the various conditions/diseases/disorders your character could have. You also need to research what day to day life would be like for them. Remember, a lot of these are more common than you think. there will always be someone out there who feels represented by a character with one of these conditions/disorders/diseases. this kind of representation helps normalize the idea that it is okay to exist as a neurodivergent, chronically ill, or disabled person. you are allowed to have adventures and live a happy life.
Reminder that you can always say NO to something in role play.
You can say no and the other person should respect that.
If they don’t agree with you saying no to something, then fucking run.
As with my previous rant about IC and OOC being separate and that fiction is fiction so whatever can be written, we need to also remember that saying no is fine and nobody should put you down nor attack you for it.
If you are in a situation where somebody says you have to do X or Y and you really don’t want to, or that it is heading that way, you can always say no. You can back out. You can propose things going a different way even. You don’t have to do whatever somebody says.
You are in your right to say no. You are in your right to back away from somebody’s role play if it is not how things should be going nor how you want it to go.*
Yes, it can be hard to say no. It can be scary. You may fear the response. But you are still within your right to just say ‘no, I don’t want X to happen’. Bring it up. If somebody starts whining or trying to force something then back away because that is fucking toxic.
This is role play. It is made up. If somebody starts trying to get their way then they are wrong. You can say no. You can say no. You can fucking say no. Especially if it relates to a squick, trigger, permanent harm or even death.
You are always within your right to just say no. Remember this.
* Within reason. Don’t face an antagonist for instance and expect to get away free without any repercussions. This is where you need to plot an alternative to whatever you said no to, to keep it close to logics. Don’t be that person that faces something and just says no to consequences. Plot plot plot. Get something worked out that benefits both parties. Hell, throw a spanner in the works and suddenly something happens if needs be.

If you're going to be RPing with mobile users, PLEASE make sure that they can view your rules and about pages in the mobile browser. Tumblr's mobile browser usually sets peoples' blogs to a mobile-friendly layout by default, and that often makes it so that mobile users cannot view your pages without going on PC or going into desktop mode- which isn't available on a LOT of mobile devices and browsers.
In order to fix this, please make sure that you make sure that your "show a link to this page" option is ON, like seen below (excuse the dark mode). Make sure to also add something in the URL so that the link can be shown. This allows mobile users to view your pages without going into desktop mode- which is not available on some mobile devices and is usually hard to navigate either way.
This doesn't just apply to RP blogs either. It can also apply to basically any blog with pages that aren't there by default (posts/likes/following/asks/submissions, archive doesn't show up on mobile). Please be considerate of mobile users if you're going to be allowing them to interact with you!

Not only was this out of the blue, but they never once accused Cherry of being a predator or implied it, only for being complicit, keep in mind both are two VERY different things.
The timing is incredibly... odd to say the least (might make a seperate post on why later idk). Its literally been bugging me all night because its wrong. You can see they never called or claimed they were a predator. If they did then show me.
