I just couldn't let the first chapter stand. This story is not part of my headcanon. In my HC, Trystan is in tune enough with Carolina to know she'd consider an engagement premature at this stage. But, I can conceivably see Trystan wanting to propose for... reasons. So, I wanted to do a little fix it... and here it is in two parts. Oh, and since I can suck at getting subsequent parts up, part two will be posted later today. :)

It was... her. The too-pretty-to-be-human creature Casey nearly collided with at Kenmore, and if she made a pair of old scrubs look good, holy hell, the way she looked all dressed up. She was exquisite. Breathtaking. So much so that it took Casey a moment to notice the man sitting at her side...closely at her side... and that's when her heart began to race.

The sun was beginning to set on the busy city street where Carolina and Trystan were staked out. Sitting in the driver’s seat, Carolina lowered the visor, adjusting her glasses and fluffing her hair to ensure her earpiece was still covered. Luke said he’d let them know as soon as their subject was on the move, but as the stakeout approached its third hour, Carolina figured they were just waiting for the word to head home.

Happy Birthday to little Samantha, who turned one on April 20th!
I asked @/artbyainna (IG) to help create artwork to commemorate the special occasion, and I'm simply squealing at the results! While Tobias and Casey are captivated with their little angel, Pietro is all too happy to jump in and get a bit of that cake he's been eyeing all afternoon! I'm just blown away by this!

The Exes: Trystan & Carolina Edition
Fandom old-timers may remember this template from the summer of 2022 (or was it 2021?); it was created by @jamespotterthefirst as a tool to help us delve into our characters' histories a bit more. Since I plan on expanding my HC for Trystan and Carolina in the near future, so I pulled it out, and once again, it really helped! (Thanks, Bree!). Relationships should never define us, but our actions in and surrounding them say a lot about who we are, and if we let it, they teach us about ourselves. Further, the way people treat us absolutely impacts us, sometimes temporarily, sometimes for good. So, I think exploring helps us get to "know" our characters better.
I highlighted 6 exes for both Trystan and Carolina. I imagine they had many more dalliances, flings, and one-night stands between them, but these are relationships that shaped them in some way - for better or worse - and played a part in bringing them to where they are today as individuals.
I hope you enjoy reading this as much as I enjoyed creating it.

It's Delicate...
You can thank @genevievemd (or not thank her! lol) 4/19 is a big day for Swifties, and Casey is amongst them. When her mother-in-law Vivian realizes this is the day before her precious grandbaby's first birthday (and party), she needs to have a few words with her son... then he needs to have a couple chats himself. He reaches out to Bryce and Sienna for reassurance that all will be OK and that Sienna may have a prescription to save the day.

OK, OK, OK... so in my HC, Tobias and Ethan have both had a mad crush on Shakira dating back to their Hopkins days. I've written about it; it is lore. 😂So after Shakira's freaking ridiculous comments today - I know my Tobias was not going to be having it, and steps would have to be taken.
