In honor of the LoK finale anniversary, here’s a heartfelt love letter to the two shows closest to my heart: Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. This piece is my longest and most ambitious arrangement to date, as well as my first successful attempt at a medley. I’ve teared up while working on this more times than I can count, as fitting each score together had me revisiting so many beloved scenes from the shows. I can only hope that listening to this little medley takes you on a similar emotional rollercoaster.

Here’s to everyone who worked to make Avatar happen, and of course, to @jeremyzuckerman​ and his heartbreakingly beautiful compositions that will always be capable of summoning a myriad of emotions in me. The biggest of thank yous for inspiring me and so many other people 💕

I've done a lot of stuff on my Japan bucket list and I am super grateful!!! But since most of my trips there were for official academic business (ehe), and the one vacation I had was a jam-packed tour, I'm really trying to plan a pure vacation mode trip where I get to explore the diff regions and soak up the vibe of the diff cities 🥰

Thinking why I couldnt super relate to the otakus despite being a Japan nerd as well ... then realized I'm more into Japanese video games than anime.

I guess we're a quieter bunch? Haha I have a blast in Japan as well but in a different way?

I basically started panicking when I got to Shibuya with the Pokemon Center, Capcom Store, and Nintendo Store all in one place 😂

Life experiences: writing FE fic on the shinkansen

I wonder when guys will realize that activating my fight-or-flight is not the way to get me to warm up to you

To be clear: I love NATLA's Team Avatar casting. They are precious beans who must be protected.

NATLA has many issues but Team Avatar's actors is not one of them.

I love these little snowball actors, I do not necessarily enjoy their scripts and their portrayal of my all-time beloved characters. But I love these kids haha they deserve their roles (and better scripts)

NATLA thoughts: getting the impression that the writers love the Fire Nation.

Like in ATLA, Katara and Aang have always been my favorite characters. Never really hopped on the zuzu train.

In NATLA, ZUKO is actually my favorite character. I kinda have a crush on him too. The Fire Nation is super interesting here, and the rest are just , eh?

Like at this point, in the context of NATLA, I can actually see ZK happening. Ish. At the very least Kataang would seem weird in this universe.
