I wanted to let you know know that tragically, Adira passed away in a car accident on February 1. She was 18. Above is one of the beautiful tributes that have been written about her. Seriously the most underrated crossover in Power Rangers
When you see five veteran rangers, you know you've fucked up
Rewatching the Once A Ranger crossover and thinking about how fucking funny the conversations between Adam and Kira were. Because on one end you have Kira, who has only known Tommy as a legendary ranger and her mentor and on the other end you have Adam, someone who went to highschool with this kid and has seen a lot of the stupid shit they have done.
Also Adam was 100% offended to learn Tommy became a Black Ranger because Goddammit Black was supposed to be his thing.
I'm now thinking about how cool it would have been if the Dino Thunder Rangers had been like... Drakkon's top enforcers alongside Ranger Slayer.
Maybe with some more evil looking versions of their suits.
that kind of sounds like they'd be the Lock, Shock, and Barrel to Drakkon's Oogey Boogey and i need it now
So uh, this sparked something and now I’m working on a fic where Drakkon and a Coinless version of Hayley Ziktor raise their world’s version of the DT kids. What can I say, I’m a sucker for found family, but especially villain found family.

The main character, an ordinary teenager, that happens to be adopted, is thrown into magical world where they learn to use their fire powers. They become part of the group that also learns magic. When battle starts they transform into a form that makes them more powerful and everyone has their own color. The woman that teaches them was once part of the powerful group that fought the bad guys in the past. One member of said group switched sides. Two members of said group turn out to be teenager’s biological parents and during the great battle, the main character was transported to Earth via portal for their own safety. The parent/s were thought dead, but are actually alive and there’s big family reunion in the end.
They have a bad guy that wants them to switch sides and is obsessed with them. Because of their parents they have power that is greater than any other. The bad guys tried to make them evil in a finale to control that power, but it didn’t work for long, because they were saved by the power of love.
Pheonixes and dragons are often involved in their story.
They have love interest that is associated with color blue.
The fandom hates the character because they feel like they stole other characters’ spotlight.

to preface this - this is not me praising hasbro. this came from creators. hasbro has done nothing but damage the brands they manage recently and that we even get something remotely positive out of something they own has nothing to do with management and everything to do with the talent that are working very hard under extremely unenviable positions to make good art.
