“As you are aware, or realise, I am here mainly for a social meeting. I have heard many amazing stories about you, about your team, so I saved up money to come here and see for my own eyes what you have accomplished.”
And he was not disappointed. Their lives had definitely changed in different directions.
“How have you been? What does your life entail for a man of such high standards?”
She gave his friend a warm smile as he was thanked in a simple form of a head movement. His office was his favourite place in the whole school. It had been his father’s and he had kept it pretty much the same.
“I’m aware this is just a social meeting. I’ve heard that word of this place has made it outside of the US, I just didn’t know the scale or how far. You didn’t need to go to so much trouble to do that. You could have called I could have helped.” He still would try too.
Life was a lot different from what they had both hoped it would have been in university.
“How’s your wife.” He asked because she had been a good friend of his as well. “My life is spent mainly looking after the children that are in my care. Making sure this place is running smoothly and safely. Though that the boring part done with. I do have a partner so the rest of time is all for them and making sure their happy. You’ve actually missed them. My partner is off to London for a week with their daughter.”
