hot artists don't gatekeep

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

Shadow Play

Commander Fox x senator!reader (fem), Senator Farr, Commander Thorn, and mention of Commander Stone

Word Count: ~3.7k

Warnings: NSFW, this is literally just filth, unprotected sex, exhibition, creampie, fluff, Fox being a tease

Summary: Seeing their favorite senator getting wrecked by their commander was certainly not in the Coruscant Guard’s mission briefing for today.

A/N: I finally had the motivation to write some Fox smut thanks to this art. Huge thanks to @homie-one-kenobi for all the encouragement and help editing ❤️ Writing this has reduced me to a puddle so please enjoy 😂

no thoughts, only thots

CT-2460 "Corkscrew" Intro & SFW Alphabet

Hey all! It's been a hot minute :) I'm trying to get back into my writing grove to get into my WIP list, but it's been hard. Brain isn't braining but stress is stressing.

So rather than fight the brain fog and get frustrated over lack of writing progress, I'm shifting gears to introduce (finally) my latest OC, Corkscrew.

Called "Cor" by his close brothers, Corkscrew is a pilot in Shadow Squadron. He's an adrenaline junkie, and definitely follows the Anakin Skywalker school of flying. But at the heart of all his daring do's is his love for his brothers and his commitment to keeping them safe.

I love this man so much and I'm so excited to learn more about him 🥺

Lessons in Anatomy and Affection (Hunter x reader)

Summary: You decide to put Hunter's anatomy knowledge to the test.

Warnings: 18+ minors begone, here be smut; f!reader, unprotected PiV, creampie, switch!Hunter and switch!reader, teasing, lots of teasing

Word Count: 2k

A/N: Hi guys! I'm alive! I meant to post this months ago, but I've been busy, so with the new TBB season finally airing, I figured this would work now. Enjoy, ya heathens. (If you've sent me an ask, I've seen it! My inspiration has been very low lately, but it's on my radar <3). Originally a gift for @vimse

with the bad batch airing its final season this year, i thought it would be a good time to get the clone fandom going again!

my hope is that we can generate some really lovely art, fics, moodboards, and generally positive content amongst us.

do you have an oc you ship with your favorite clone? do you enjoy reading or writing clone x reader fics? do you want to see content for characters you might not often think of or wish there was more discussion about? this is where i hope we can see some of those things happen!

this is an event in the same vein as @clonexreaderbingo , but run by a completely separate account/person.

event run time:

march 1st - november 10th

Things I Will Always Cherish About “Night at the Museum”

THIS IS A LONG POST! SORRY! TL;DR AT END!

  • Larry and his ex-wife, Erica, are depicted as maintaining a healthy relationship; they actually seem to care about each other and don’t use their young son as a pawn to be spiteful to each other
  • Erica’s new fiancé is also depicted as a decent guy who cares about Nicky. He doesn’t try to one up Larry, or be malicious. He’s actually really nice to Larry when they interact.
  • Erica doesn’t “threaten” to take away Nicky because Larry’s unstable; she genuinely wants Larry to be able to get settled in a routine, so that he can be the best father to their son.
  • Larry doesn’t write off Erica’s concerns (voiced through Nicky) as her being spiteful. He goes to an employment office the same day. This shows that he actually values his son’s view of him, and doesn’t want Nicky to see him as a deadbeat dad.
  • Dick Van Dyke. ‘Nuff said.
  • The movie is real about people losing jobs, and doesn’t make them out to be a failure.
  • Gus is a freakin’ gem.
  •  “Where is he? I’ll beat him with my fist?”
  • “He looks like a weirdy.”
  • “Now, listen, Lunch Box. Don’t try anything funny. I once went nine rounds with John L. Sullivan.”
  • “Do you want the job or not, Snack Shack?”
  • “I ought to punch you in the nose, hopscotch.”
  • “Young buck, crackin’ wise.”
  • Cecil dressing up in that mask and feathered headdress just to scare the *&@% out of Larry, and then immediately switching to a serious tone and telling Larry, “Seriously, though, no fooling around in here.”
  • Erica is genuinely happy that Larry got a job at the Museum. She sounds so genuinely proud.
  • Cecil hands over his “torch” that he immediately after refers to as a “flashlight.” He’s just punning away because he’s “passing the torch.”
  • Larry does what we all would do and plays with the P. A. system.
  • Also pretty sure that Ben Stiller just forgot the words to “Eye of the Tiger.”
  • Larry somehow misses for a hot ten seconds that the giant T-rex skeleton is missing, and then immediately jumps to the conclusion that verified old man Cecil somehow had something to do with it.
  • Rexy is just a prehistoric good boy who wants to play fetch.
  • Larry says “No way” in response to a bunch of screeching birds as though he hasn’t just played fetch with a tyrannosaurus rex skeleton.
  • Attila (leader of the Huns, a people group from Central Asia) is played by Patrick Gallagher, an actor of Chinese (or Central Asian) descent.
  • The elevator music is “Mandy.”
  • Sacagawea is played by Mizuo Peck, who is of Cherokee descent.
  • When the Civil War mannequins get shot, stuffing falls out of the holes.
  • Columbus calls Larry a “turista”
  • “Oh thit.”
  • Legit references to “Gulliver’s Travels”
  • “We may be small, but our hearts are large…metaphorically speaking.”
  • ROBIN *&%@^&% WILLIAMS (R.I.P. angel)
  • Somehow no one seems to realize that Ahkmenrah’s cries are ones of terror and anguish, and yet he emerges still kind and gracious.
  • Also he stops screaming to let Teddy exposit; so kind
  • “Put me down! I don’t like to be manhandled!”
  • “Jedidiah’s impotent rage.”
  • Rebecca is so obsessed with Sacagawea, and history in general. She also doesn’t spend more than a second on Larry’s home life, recognizing immediately that it makes him a bit uncomfortable. She doesn’t write him off as weird; instead she actually tries to help him understand the history of all the exhibits.
  • Larry goes “Dad” on all the exhibits, especially Octavius and Jed.
  • JEDTAVIUS
  • “I ain’t quittin’ you.”
  • When my mom tried to argue that there is NO gay subtext between Jed and Octavius, I reminded her that they reference BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, the gayest mainstream movie to ever gay.
  • SACAGAWEA x TEDDY ROOSEVELT: OTP FOR LIFE
  • “A handsome woman, I suppose.”
  • “I’m not even brave enough to tell that beautiful woman I love her.”
  • Teddy throws himself in front of a stagecoach to save her.
  • “You’re worth saving my dear.”
  • Teddy imitates the clicking language for Sacagawea.
  • “Good Lord, Lawrence, why are you slapping a monkey?”
  • We see a bit of doubt in Nicky’s eyes, but ultimately, his trust remains in his father.
  • Larry’s first instinct is to protect his son at any cost.
  • Ahkmenrah speaks Egyptian and I am in LOVE, even before the wrappings come off.
  • Nobody expects Ahkmenrah to be some undead hottie. Especially Larry.
  • There’s a literal screen grab where you can see Larry’s brain screaming: https://youtu.be/5Ba9_jaN7EA?t=6s
  • Pharaoh Ahkmenrah (aka my long-dead Egyptian character crush) is played by the beautiful and talented Rami Malek (aka my not dead EGYPTIAN celebrity crush)
  • Ahkmenrah never thinks to show Larry anything but respect.
  • The movie takes the time to explain why Ahkmenrah a) speaks English and b) does it in a British accent without it seeming forced or implausible.
  • Um, Rami Malek in that outfit was my actual sexual awakening as a child. No man has ever measured up.
  •  Larry forgives Attila for wanting to rip him up because he realizes someone must have hurt Attila for the Hun to have so much hate.
  • Larry does not judge Attila for crying, and welcomes him into his arms, singing the lullaby Attila’s father should have.
  • The Easter Island head calls Larry “My dum-dum.”
  • The little smile on Ahkmenrah’s face when Larry convinces all the exhibits to work together to retrieve the tablet; it’s a face that says, “Larry, Guardian of Brooklyn, you would have made a fine pharaoh.” There’s a similar one on Teddy’s face too.
  • The way Ahkmenrah’s robes billow as he runs so athletically…*shakes head*…Sorry. I got caught up.
  • Cecil steals a freakin’ stagecoach. What the heck!
  • “Ooh. That’s problematic,” is this movie’s “Oh, I’ve been impaled.”
  • Ahkmenrah and Nicky ride on Rexy’s back and it’s the most glorious thing I’ve ever seen.
  • Again, Ahkmenrah speaks Egyptian and I think my ovaries just exploded.
  • Ahkmenrah’s lip bite and little grin when the tablet sends the exhibits back.
  • Larry makes sure to call Rebecca because he needs her to know that he wasn’t making fun of her, and knows how important history is to her. In fact, I’d wager he thinks her love of it is pretty freakin’ cool.
  • Rebecca legitimately fangirls over Sacagawea.
  • Larry is genuinely sad for and proud of Jed and Octy.
  • That strut the two of them have when they return to the museum mostly unscathed.
  • Larry gets to keep his job because of the influx of museum patrons, and I’m in love with the number of people so thirsty for knowledge.
  • THE PARTY AT THE END
  • If you watch, the mammoth dances by shaking its tushy.
  • A soccer game?
  • The Neanderthal eating fire extinguisher foam like it’s whipped cream from a can.
  • Ahkmenrah’s sick dance moves.
  • THE SNAPPER LIGHT AT THE END!

TL;DR: Night at the Museum doesn’t whitewash, deals with real and serious problems in a way that is positive, and is just generally hilarious.
