OP of the original post turned off reblogs but as of 3 hours ago 3/3/24 Deux Face is still alive and doing well!! According to the farm's Facebook she is starting to try to stand and getting better at holding up her head. The farm has been very clear that they're going to care for her and do their best to meet her needs, they are not planning to sell her or show her off to the media. They also haven't mentioned any other noticeable deformities inside or out and have noted that both heads connect at the same throat, and she's lived for about 5.5 days at this point which is shockingly long for an animal with this level of deformities. Go Deux Face!
Deux Face update 3/6!!
She is continuing to make "very slow but positive progress" to stand, managing to stand for a couple seconds a few times since the last update.
They also confirmed some fun facts: she breathes out of both noses at once and can see with all four eyes! There really are twice as many stars for little Deux Face.
Plus some new photos released by her farm :)
They posted a video on 3/11 showing off her ability to hold her head up now :)
As of writing, there's no reason to believe she isn't still doing well, which would make her a whole 2 weeks old!

Deux Face update 3/18. She is still doing about the same. Feeding well and bodly functions are good. Vet visit today for an eye infection. Also, wellness check and everything functioning good except for being able to stand on her own. Vet gave her meds to help with the eye infection. She was super active jumping around in her sling trying to feed her this evening

Update yesterday (via the source above), Deux Face stopped eating over the weekend and passed away Monday the 25th. She lived for almost a month.
RIP Deux Face during your 26 days of life you were seen and loved by tens or hundreds of thousands of people. I'm honored to have been a part of sharing your beauty. I hope your time here felt endlessly long and the sun warmed your faces if only for a brief while. Much love from all of us

It's stupid that bread goes bad so fast. Bread should last ten million years on your countertop. You should be able to feed yourself off the same loaf of bread from the day you are born to the day you die. They should pass down bread between generations like a family heirloom. There should be remnants of still-good bread after the heat death of the universe.
