I feel so much rage when people insist that Taylor isn’t allowed to use any words pertaining to mental illness because she couldn’t possibly understand and must be exaggerating. Imagine hearing someone bare their soul the way Taylor has on this album and acting like she’s throwing around words she doesn’t understand. This has been going on since she uttered the word depression in her music and I am so beyond tired.
In days like this when everyone is busy with the new album and mentioning folklore or midnight i‘d like to recall my favorite thing Taylor’s have ever written… my beloved baby that everyone seems to neglect even Taylor herself
I am once again asking Swifties to understand that Taylor Swift songs and albums are not "about" anyone other than Taylor Swift and how she is thinking or feeling or reacting to any particular stimuli in her life. And that is more true than ever with this album.
