Wow, she was tall, and heavily armed. Deunan had heard Overwatch had begun operations again, albeit without the approval of the UN. She had been sent by ESWAT as a means to evaluate them.
Was Overwatch going to be a problem, were they the criminals that the world said they were? Deunan had heard stories of Overwatch’s heroics and their downfall but never thought the organization that used to do what ESWAT was doing now could be a terror threat.
“If that’s what you want to call it then yes. I’m here to do a little ‘threat analysis’.”

Fareeha sighed. “No, I’m alright. I want to talk about the man I once knew. Reyes was…a kind, but ambitious man. He was also incredibly skilled with a knitting needle, believe it or not.” She laughed. “He made me a plush of Winston for my eleventh birthday. But you didn’t want to hear about that. The Reyes I knew cared for his people. He rescued McCree from his gang, and he was the one reinforcing Angela’s opinions on using cybernetics to keep Genji alive.”
She plugged some of the information in, though did leave the bit about the plush out, while it was important to Fareeha, it was ultimately useless in her testimony for getting Overwatch back in business.
“I see.” She said as she prepared the pad for one more recording.”In conclusion, what are the benefits of Overwatch returning to active duty? How can the world benefit by having you resume operations? What are potential consequences and how would you work around these?”
"The benefits of our return to active duty?" Fareeha smiled, a wry and honest thing. "We have training that armies and police forces don't that allow us to uniquely diffuse situations. Yes, we collapsed upon ourselves, but when we worked as a unit? Everyone remembers how we put down the Omnic Uprising at King's Row. As for consequences...well, only the worthy answered the call. We won't have another civil war within our ranks."

At first Angela wasn’t sure how to respond back to Fareeha, at least not just yet, so she begin to listen to her instead. She really wasn’t expecting to see the daughter of Ana to show up instead of sniper herself but… Ana disappeared or maybe she was dead and no one could find her remains, who knows? But a part of her liked to believe the good woman was still around, even if others had their own opinions around the subject.
But at the mention of wanting to see the doctor herself, Angela became a bit lost for words at her sentence.
“Oh…? I…” She fell quiet for a moment and looked down at the floor, giving herself a few seconds of silence to think on what she should say next. Yes, she is agitated, she cannot lie to herself, she’s actually angry in fact. Why did she think coming back was such a good idea? “I apologize again, I’m just… Not used to having a normal talk. It’s been a while and… Being back here- brings memories.” She gestures to the room she once owned.
“I didn’t think I would find myself back within the walls of Overwatch.” She admitted.
“I must confess, this is not how I was hoping to return to the Watchpoint as an adult, ready to serve the greater cause my mother believed in so much.” Fareeha sighed heavily. So much had happened...to her friends and family, all connected to Overwatch. Gabriel Reyes had allowed thoughts of jealousy and rage to consume him and he went rogue, tearing the organisation apart from within. The entirety of Overwatch was accused of being terrorists, and forced to disband...
...and Ana. Her mother. Vanished during a mission where the only known detail was that she was shot in the eye by the Widowmaker.
And now they were all here, called by Winston to piece together an already-fragile world.
