THE GIFTENING 2018: The Heats are On

You’ve sent in your nominations, the choices lie before you. It’s time to start drilling down the ballot!

WHAT YOU HAVE BEFORE YOU

There are six surveys, one for each category, each packed with your nominations. I swapped a couple of things into places where it fit better (such as moving Sunless Sea from misc to gaming), pulled everything Sailor Moon (since that’ll be its own day with separate votes coming soon!), and consolidated nominations where I could, but otherwise, these lists are untouched.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

For each survey, check up to TEN choices. You don’t have to make it to ten, between one and nine are just fine. Note that it’ll LET you pick more than ten, but ten’s your limit! (If a ballot has more than ten, the selections will go into a randomizer and whatever ten it spits out at me are what get the votes.)

HOW LONG YOU HAVE

Until this Wednesday, 30 January, at 10pm MT, so don’t wait about!

WHAT I’LL DO

Once voting for the first heat is complete, the top third in each category will move on to the second heat, and voting will open on those the next day (Thursday).

The only one she got to was D point and 106 (as a quick run)! They’re on the same stream she posted, it’s all D point up to the last half hour

Bit disappointed that Jet didn't actually watch the opening for Miraculous Ladybug but the official theme song. Can't fault her for not wanting to watch it after the official theme song, since it does concentrate a lot on Ladybug and Chat Noir. But I feel like she would've had a much better view of the show if she saw the opening. Oh well nothing we can do about it now

Eh, truthfully I think its fate was sealed when it was the source of MASSIVE cheating for the Giftening to try and get it in, but yeah the opening is a lot better than the theme song for promise, admittedly.

Bringing back up this apparently very necessary reminder: Jet does not need a content screener. Jet is a grown up, who is perfectly capable of handling heavy topics. The veto squad was created for fandom drama/discourse potential.
