I’m posting this everywhere because it makes me so happy, buuuut... I am now the delighted owner of this original cabinet card photo of Baroness Mary Vetsera. As well as being one of my absolute favourite photos of Mary, the object itself has an interesting history, having passed through the hands of Heinrich Hinterberger. Just trying to find the perfect frame, and ‘Mary dear’ will be displayed carefully and treasured! Isn’t she just lovely?
