Not to sound anti vegan but what is one ecological function performed by roaches because I’m not entirely sure we need them

they’re a part of the food chain & they help with the breaking down of forest-floor discarded foliage (cockroaches feed on fallen leaves/discarded branches and bark, and are then fed on in turn by everything from other insects to birds & small mammals)

Ain’t no forest floor discarded foliage in my house tho so why they here

Accountability is one of the most important aspects of preserving movements. Your movement will die if oppressive behaviors aren’t challenged and shitty ppl aren’t held accountable and taken to task, because every time this doesn’t happen, ppl will exit the movement, until all you have left is 5 friends saying the same thing back and forth to each other.

I’m not saying tumblr constitutes a movement space, but if you’re not holding your online friends accountable, you’re def not holding your irl friends accountable.
