what if she envied him. after all, no matter how difficult it might have been, sirius escaped. he lived his life, found his family in the potters and in the marauders.
what if narcissa masked how deeply affected she was by his disownment with scorn and indifference. her wish for a family extended to him, but she was never one to showcase pain.
