you're definitely not the only one. i mean i like him just fine but several people still don't like him because of his behavior in chim begins and hen begins so! but lou already pretty much said buck/tommy will be done by the end of the next episode so you don't have to worry about it much longer
here i'll make a supernatural comparison for you all. imagine in s15 castiel got a new love interest and it's a guy who we had seen maybe once or twice a few seasons ago that cas didn't even interact with until this most recent season. cas and this guy ARE really cute! but then a bunch of people on the internet who have never watched supernatural once in their lives start saying "yes!!!! i hope they end up together and not dean and castiel." and start saying things about wanting dean to be kept straight. and completely ignore how making dean/castiel a couple would make a MASSIVE impact and would be life changing television. does that scenario make your eye twitch? well that's what it's like being a 9-1-1 fan right now seeing people comment on the buck/tommy/eddie love triangle.
People who don’t know 911 saying Buck should end up with Tommy because all they know is the stuff from the last two episodes….. you are making my eye twitch. You don’t even know about the 6 season long slow burn.
destiel shippers trying to comment on 9-1-1 events without having seen the show: i could fill a book with the things you don't understand about buck and eddie
911 is fascinating right now because what do you MEAN you originally planned on eddie being gay but you switched it up last second to buck being bi and you don't even know how this season is gonna end because you clearly want to do buddie but you have to work within the constraints of the executives who clearly aren't convinced yet. but then you make every person who does an interview for this season talk about buck/eddie potentially being in a romantic relationship to get PR for it and get people used to the idea but you still don't even know if you'll be allowed to make both of these dudes like guys. fascinating to be able to see that the writers and actors are fighting for this gay ship to happen very loudly and in our faces.

seeing destiel fans root against buddie is so crazy to me. why are you rooting against a slow burn gay romance between two main characters on a massively popular network television show?? bc you're... bitter? jealous? well that's not the way to go about that. we should want better things for future gay rep. don't be the type of person who says "well i never got mine, so you can't get yours"
