The final installment of the Bailey Sibs — a redraw of the original comic.

I want to say I’ll miss the Bailey Sibs... I got so much out of it. To my much surprise, I realized I got more than just 2, 509 followers. I got friends. Friends that I might have for the rest of my life, if I’m lucky and don’t fuck anything up. The characters are special, and they’re more than amazing, but it was the blog itself that wasn’t going anywhere. I’ve got other things in my life that I’ve got to keep up with, and the Bailey Sibs just aren’t one of them.

I want to thank @ihaileysenpai, because how could I not? She started the whole thing and helped me get here. She’s a good friend and I don’t plan on stopping being hers. So thank you for getting me here.

If you all want to continue to see my drawings, please follow me at @dailydoseofart. But as for this blog... it’s done. I’ll delete is as soon as I’m ready, which may be a while, but it will happen.

Well...

This is it, this is the end.

I had fun while it lasted.

Thanks for everything.

Appreciation Post Day 5: Bailey

This is a little late for an appreciation post, but an appreciation post nonetheless.

I’m giving this one to Bailey from @askthebaileysibs because without him, and Hailey, and everyone who was a part of the creation of the family, I probably would not be where I am today. I wouldn’t have become so confident to post my art like I am. I wouldn’t have made as many friends. For me, he was my beginning. My starting point. The blog might be dead, but that can’t stop me from thanking him for everything.

I want to include the beautiful @ihaileysenpai in this, because she too was a big part of my beginning. Without her being there to help boost me up to the pedestal that was at at the beginning of my Tumblr life, I probably wouldn’t have gotten this far. Without her being there to say something as simple as “*gasp* I totally did that to my little brother (whom is now taller than me at age 11 ;-;) That is so great! ( @phoenixmeeka loooooook)”, there’s no way I would have tried to get better at my art, and definitely not quickly. Sure, I had S, but this was the true beginning.

And don’t think I’ll forget to mention the amazing @ivyrosey, who started the whole thing in the first place! They are the true creator, I have nothing to thank but them for creating the boy in this picture and sending me on the quest that was popularity. Not to mention they’ve stayed with me even after I stopped doing that, and they’ve recently helped me out immensely by commissioning me!

It’s just so sweet how far it’s gotten me, one simple drawing from almost two years ago. I’m really proud of where I am now, and I have nothing more to say but thank you. Just, thank you, for everything you’ve done. How a simple statement can send someone like me into the stars like it did for me that day is just extraordinary.

So thank you. It means so much more to me than you know.
