manic pixelberry dream girl and her weird con man boyfriend
By which I don't just mean which one do you dislike most, but also which is the one that when you see people calling them god-tier, you genuinely cannot even begin to put yourself in the shoes of whoever's saying it because "really? that one?"
This is a safe space, let it out 😮💨
happy 10th anniversary high school story <3
playchoices used to be in the top 5 during tumblr’s year in review 😔
every time I remember this blog exists I just get sad that choices turned into another badly written formulaic sex story game :// tcatf/endsum/it lives are so special to me and I wish we could have had more stories of that caliber
once again i am making u look at my messy lines.
Kindly pay your respects to the legends.
Had the pleasure to draw this commission for the lovely @masquerade-reimagined! 💕
Her MC Adrasteia and Kayden snuck into her private study to get a taste of Annalisa's favorite books. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Had a lot of fun drawing this! ✨

Here at Pixelberry Studios we want to celebrate Pride Month with you! Share your favorite Choices Pride photos with us and we’ll highlight them on our timeline tomorrow! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favorite choices pride moment is when y’all constantly sidelined same gender love interests, continue to have uneven love interest ratios, repeatedly slip up with customizable love interests showing that their default gender is written as male, and refused to let any character actually discuss their sexuality since like the freshman 💖
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how across 88 whole books, including side stories, you only have 4 trans characters! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how against every opportunity you still haven’t made the option for non-binary mc’s! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is every time you’ve paywalled the female love interests for wlw because they don’t matter! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how the majority of those paywalled female love interests are women of colour, proving that you guys are just really that horrible with intersectionality! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how the love between same-gender characters is heteronormative as fuck! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how male mc’s are never optional in books where the focal genre is romance, because apparently you can’t be bothered writing a romance between two dudes for an entire book! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how you very obviously reuse the dialogue from the female mc’s for sex scenes with gay male mc’s; as if heterosexual sex is the same as love-making between two men! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is how the LGBT community often feels like we were an afterthought when you were making these books, because hey—at least you can claim the sweet sweet representation while putting in the bare minimum! 😍 🏳️🌈
My favourite Choices Pride moment is the fact that I specifically started playing Choices because I was tired of seeing myself getting violently murdered, beaten, abused or forgotten in mainstream media, so I went looking for games and stories that portrayed positive gay romances with a gay man as the main character; but now when playing this app I feel like I’m being forgotten just as much as before. Congratulations Pixelberry Studios, you successfully baited the queers! 😍 🏳️🌈
i honestly dont wanna hear another white choices player ever complain about black and other people of color raising awareness about how awful choices has done all those black/poc and lgbtq characters in the past when the ceo just admitted it themselves and ya’ll chose to ignore it and probably will continue to instead of listening and uplifting those voices and yall can chalk it up to its just a game all you want but at the end of the day it represents how someones very real life is viewed and how society treats black + poc all the time in every industry
