Gentle or demanding tone of voice

Gentle 100%- giving and receiving

I'm the biggest princess of a subject- I want to be talked to soothingly and gently and praised frequently. I want to be cared for. I know a lot of people enjoy a more intense/demanding/scary experience, but in my head, being hypnotized should always feel good.

That being said, I'm a bit curious about a scene where I'm coaxed through something more difficult or scary. I think 90s TV gave me a weird subfetish for those scenes where someone is hypnotized to remember something difficult- like a detail from a crime scene. Or ones where they're hypnotized to in some way avoid danger. I don't really know how to re-enact that gentle/dangerous dynamic in a irl scene (good cop/bad cop? pretend regression?) but there's something to that tension that's really interesting.

As a top, I am almost always pretty gentle. There's a nice sweet spot when I'm dominant where I'm being both gentle and "mean" or obviously manipulative- that's a fun space to play in. I'll pull out demanding when I need to but only at the right moments- I usually have to build to it.

Hypnotic eyes or hypnotic voice?

Both please :)

If I have to choose, though, definitely voice. There's a certain kind of hypnotic voice that can feel almost physical to me- like a weighted blanket giving gentle pressure or like being at the bottom of a trench. Sometimes I can even feel a good voice vibrating through me like I'm standing next to train track. It's SOO good.

Relaxation or Confusion

Relaxation, usually. Done badly, confusion will just annoy me and trigger my "do you think I'm stupid?" self defenses. Even when it's done well, I may be more enjoying the technique than actually feeling hypnotized. That being said, relaxation induction with some confusion thrown in as a deepener is a sweet spot. :)

As a hypnotist, I tend to combine both- but usually there's some confusion elements in my patter. I tend to hypnotize without a big, structed induction planned and more flow of consciousness- and my flow of consciousness tends to be pretty confusing by itself. 😛 My brain just kind of sends me random technique while I'm talking and I throw it in as it fits.

Giggly and silly or blank and empty?

Yes please :)

To be honest, it depends on the person and the context of the scene? The blank and empty feels more serious to me and maybe more innately hot. However, giggly and silly sounds like a lot of fun- it reminds me of swapping inductions with a switchy friend and getting punchdrunk with how goofy we're being. So- both can have potentially nice connotations!

I would really encourage past me to be brave. I knew how to hypnotize and had even done some sessions LONG before I was willing to really talk about it much. I doubted myself for a long time- was worried about my competence and was very worried about accidentally doing harm to someone I hypnotized. There wasn't really any kind of community that I was in touch with then so I felt very isolated. If I could somehow start again in the Year Of Our Lord 2025, I would find community faster and be braver in trying things out.

Oooh I had to think about it. I didn't have an immediate answer but- I'd say being in trance is black. It's physically located in the front of my head and the direction is down. Usually heavy.

When I'm hypnotizing, usually my back is straight and my shoulders are back. The color really depends on the kind of tone I'm trying to set- sometimes it's a gentle blue or a purple or a red.
